Army & Navy Surplus

Had to purchase some clothing and items for a trip our son was taking. Both workers in the store were extremely helpful, had good suggestions and were very patient.

This store is small, not to fault the owners themselves. I’ve only been here once but Dan and Merci are incredibly friendly and helpful. I was wondering how to use a shemagh and she demonstrated several ways to do it. The prices aren’t bad, but it won’t beat wholesale for sure.
We came here to get MREs and their selection, again, was limited. It’s a great place to go to for basics and to browse but nothing for particulars. Their customer service and warmth makes up for it.

Really great small surplus store. Owner is incredibly nice and I had a great conversation with him for about 8 mins. Really knowledgeable. Don’t be afraid to ask questions!

Dan and his wife are both awesome and knowledgeable. He is good about telling you what is mil spec gear and what is not, unfortunately he has to carry both because lots of the mall ninjas don’t wanna pay full price.
I have been going to his store for aver a decade now and I have spent a good portion of my kid’s college money by now I’m sure. If he doesn’t have it, he gets it for me in good time.

Love this place. Always has what I need. Up to date on their knife selection (spyderco, kershaw, ect) and gear. Dan, one of the owners, is very helpful and always answering my questions. Aside from their location, this is a great place to get gear, I will be a life time customer if they continue to carry the high quality gear and outstanding customer service that I have experienced these last 3 years.

Anyways, to give a little update to my past review, I have been to this shop 4 – 5 in the past week! And bought gear on every trip. I live pretty much right in the middle of Army & Navy Surplus in Simi and Supply Sergeant in Burbank. And I go back and forth between the two.
Dan at Army & Navy Surplus is really a great guy and business owner. I hate it when I walk into the store and immediately have eyes on me and salespeople pushing a sale. Dan is laid back, soft spoken and a pleasure to deal with. In the past week, I’ve bought shirts, patches, knives and miscellaneous other gear.
Like I said before, I will DEFINITELY be back again and again. Dan has surely earned a lifetime customer in me. Stop by and check it out for yourself!

smaller shop, but the friendly owners more than make up for it. If they don’t have something, they will call you when they get one in. good selection of uniforms and knifes. packs and boots selection is decent. emergency food/mre’s and patches.

Dan and Merci are owners here scince 1992.
They have most things. If not they usually can get it.
The best Knives in Simi Valley, survival food, ensignia items, assorted flags,
uniforms etc.
Sometimes they get in unusual and cool surplus stuff.
If you buy something here you CANNOT return it.
