It has been a bazillion years since I’ve had a Dairy Queen blizzard(yes, I’m THAT old). The funny thing is that I didn’t even realize there was a Dairy Queen near me until a couple of months ago when we happened to go to a grocery store that I rarely go to anymore(Albertsons)… so I spotted the DQ and said to my husband who was with me… «Can we get a Blizzard?» He looked at me, puzzled, because he couldn’t imagine what made me randomly ask for that… until I pointed across the parking lot to the Dairy Queen sitting over yonder. His eyes lit up as mine had seconds before when I spotted it. I got a Salted Caramel Truffle Blizzard, which I can tell you, is a brand new flavor(well, at least to me). They’ve added a few new flavors since I last went… again, too many years ago for me to remember. So this flavor combo I got had salted caramel truffles, buttery toffee pieces, cocoa fudge, and chocolate chunks blended with their creamy vanilla soft serve ice cream. It was delicious and as good as I remember it being, albeit with some new flavors for me to taste. I was sorry I only got a «medium» cuz it was gooooooooood. I like the fact that they have branched out with some new flavors… and flavor combos at that. What I don’t like is that I now know I have a DQ close to me… so, willpower will now have to be exercised, so I don’t seek them out all the time. So far, since I first discovered them a couple of months ago, I’ve only been back once. That’s good for me !!

We went last night due to a free small cone promotion that I received from Dairy Queen. When we went in the man at the register stated that that location wasn’t participating in the promotion. Every other guest who came in, came for the same reason. Most stayed because they were already there and purchased something. The reason for my review is because I ordered a Banana Split Blizzard, and it was so melted that it was more of a soup than what I have come to expect from a Blizzard. This was not the first time I have experienced that issue from this location. I wasn’t thrilled that I felt like there was a bait and switch, but what I paid for wasn’t very good.

While the gelato is delicious, it certainly doesn’t qualify the best in the world and does not justify waiting in a massive line up. The prices are unreasonable as well. That being said, the salted caramel and vanilla is delicious.

Well this used to be good… I guess? Not really sure what the point of coming here is unless you wanna waste your money. Everything is extremely expensive when you could go to Carl’s jr or the grocery store next door for a fraction of the price… we got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and their chili dog meal deal. All I can say is it was disgusting… the chili dog tasted like dollar store hot dogs and the sandwich wasn’t even anything… It had like half a piece of bacon and was literally all just bread. So disappointed never coming back. I will be posting a picture of the sand which.

I have only ever come to dairy queen for the soft serve ice cream or other frozen treats. Staff is nice and friendly and the ice cream is good and cheap!

The staff does not smile, nor are they friendly. I asked for a flamethrower 5 buck lunch, the guy points to their 5 buck lunch which consists of a chili cheese dog(not up to DQ standards), a small drink and a small blizzard. I had ordered the flame thrower,(it’s a burger) when I brought the error to the clerk’s attention. He told me they don’t make burgers there at that location. Now I remember why I haven’t been back in 2 years. Won’t go back unless I want ice cream, only.

When you are craving creamy soft serve goodness, Dairy Queen is the place! Staff is friendly and service is fast. I always get a kick when they turn my Blizzard they just made upside down to show it won’t fall. Good place for the whole family!

Service without a smile. I got the grilled chicken combo and after paying for it new that i Made a bad decision. One of the worst put together chicken sandwiches i’ve had. Won’t be coming here unless I want some ice cream on a really hot day.

Wonderful little DQ in the Albertson’s shopping plaza. Parking can be a bit tight because there are many businesses, including a 24 Hour Fitness, nearby. The facility is pretty small, with little seating. However, there are a couple tables outside. The employees are always friendly and the different selections of treats are always fresh and yummy. They also have selections to go(yay Dilly Bars!) including birthday cakes. Overall, it’s a great little DQ that my family enjoys visiting.

Where to start? I am torn between the delicious taste of sweet milky ice cream and the awfully terrifying events that occurred while I was there. The server was completely rude to my brother who asked for a dairy free option since he is deathly alergic to dairy. She then preceded to ignore us. However, that was not the issue. as I dined on my perfectly swirled cone, a verbal assault began to take place between a few customers. I was scared and then quickly left with my heavenly soft served ice cream.

Wishing we had more DQs in the SoCal area! I only go here for the frozen treats, especially the blizzards(fave is Strawberry Cheesequake!), so my 5 stars is only for the frozen treats. Never tried the food at any DQs such as the hotdogs. Why go here for hotdogs or food though? Blizzards are so much better than the McFlurries you can get at McDonalds, so I wish there was a DQ in the Alhambra area! Service was pretty fast, but it wasn’t busy at all. It was mid afternoon, and it was the perfect treat after spending several hours at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

Came here with the family after a day at the beach, ice cream and shakes were pretty good and the service was ok. My favorite shakes are at in and out, this was very comparable

Word to the wise go there for the ice cream not the food. Oh and this place has just about the slowest service I’ve ever encountered.
