I had Fast install my new water heater after mine failed in spectacular fashion a year ago, Erick was great and did a fantastic job. Fast is a great company and Erick is a pro. The best! Fast forward one year later — He installed yet another heater for me when my painter destroyed the new heater when his team went to fix some water damage around the heater and decided it wise to tape up all the heater vents, while leaving the pilot lit. Long story, but Erick did his thing and we were back in action in no time. Fast has done 3 water heater installs for me in my life, all flawless.

Gave us an estimate that is $ 300 more than other plumbers in the area. If you purchase your water heater at Homedepot and refused to buy it from Fast Water, they’ll get you on the estimate. They are salepeople, not repairman. They charged us $ 65 for a drip pan and the same one is sold for $ 10 at Home Depot and other bogus charges that is not CA up to code requirements. These are recommended and not set by the city. Don’t let them scare you with Up to Code charges. Confirm it with your local city. The $ 449 installation fee is a scheme, just to have them out to give an estimate. Glad that we didn’t fall for their trap.

We first called Mike Diamond Plumbing and got this totally ridiculous quote but then decided to call Home Depot and they connected us with Fast Water Heater Company, the contractor they have for delivery and installation. They came out on a Sunday which was fantastic and our technician, Ivan C., was so professional and helpful. He was able to complete the installation and the removal of our old water heater in a couple of hours. I would recommend this company to everyone! We couldn’t have had a better experience.
