I really like this place. Much better breakfast than Denny’s. The service is quick and the food is great. This is our go-to breakfast spot when we have to leave early to go somewhere on the weekend. The place could use some updating with décor, but it does have the old country house charm.

Ate here on a Saturday early afternoon. I ordered their breakfast egg sandwich. I didn’t know you could screw up something so simple but, boy was I wrong. It seemed as if they only scrambled one egg as opposed to two, and they threw in a piece of Kraft American cheese(so disgusting) that wasn’t even melted in my sandwich. The plate also came with hashbrowns which were super bland and burnt. The server didn’t even bother to ask why I only took a few bites of my food. Maybe it’s ’cause most of their customers were white, and we were the only brown folks in there? Never again.

Slightly better than OK food, with slightly higher than average prices. They do serve a good breakfast and do so all day long. Usually easy to get into most times of the day. Not very flexible as to substitutions though, so if you have dietary restrictions be prepared to deal with this situation. The coffee is good, and if you’re in need of some java, you can do worse than coming in here. A hamburger patty and eggs for me, plus a salad for my guest was nearly $ 30 without the tip. Probably why only I have three check in’s here over the past few years. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an okay place, just not my first choice.

My good ol Biker breakfast! Been coming here for years! Love my Sunday morning ride after church and a good breakfast. My favorite… The croissant breakfast sandwich. Try it out of you haven’t been.

Have never in my life written a review before, but I just can’t bite my tongue on this one. Food is good, service is awful. Takes forever for someone to greet you and give you a menu. If you’re lucky enough to be greeted in under ten minutes of sitting down, lighting doesn’t strike twice here, in that your server will not check in on you during your entire meal. 2nd time coming here and the same poor service result(fool me twice, shame on me I guess). Totally unorganized and chaotic environment. I am one of those persons who can deal with poor service if the food is good, but it’s just not possible here. Will NOT be returning. Too many other good breakfast options in Simi where the customer is actually treated as a priority, rather than an inconvenience.

I just went back to give this place another shot(as you can see I have already written a review) and waited again for 10 minutes before leaving because we had no service and people who got there 5 min after us got menus and water. I then called the manager, Jerry, to just say that we were disappointed in the service and that no one even checked just to see if we got any help yet. He didn’t seem too concerned and was saying that it was unusual. I told him it’s happened before and he said he doesn’t think I’m lying but it’s unusual. To handle the situation he should have apologized and taken it as constructive criticism instead of making excuses. I went through and read other reviews and it seems I am not the only one who feels this way. Very disappointing!!!

I was not impressed. We went there on a Sunday, early afternoon, around 1 pm. Service was fine. I ordered the two egg breakfast with bacon, it came with soggy hash Browns and burnt toast. I was surprised that they served it like that. My boyfriend’s breakfast also came with soggy, barely cooked hash browns. The eggs were good least. The did refill my soda regularly, so I was happy about that.

So this was the first time going to this restaurant and I have to say that for being a hole in the wall it was actually really good. My wife ordered the Pastrami Reuben and I had a bite of it and it was flavorful and tasty. I ordered the Philly Cheese-steak sandwich and it was also very good. The prices are very reasonable and I would definitely come back for seconds!

Came in for breakfast the first time today. Our waitress recommended a few items and we were not disappointed. The food was tasty and the portions large. Our coffee cups were never empty and the service was quick and attentive.

GREATFOOD, SERVERS, CHEF, and OWNER. We’ve been going here for years. Never had a disappointing meal or server. It is wonderful in the summer on the patio. Doesn’t cost an arm and a leg either and large portions. Go try it! You won’t be sorry,

When we first walked in they told us we could find a seat which was awesome, no waiting! We decided to eat out on the patio so George held the door open for us brought us our menus and asked if we wanted anything to drink. They brought out the drinks very fast and took our orders and the food came out quicker then I thought it would. They refilled out coffees on a regular basis. Everything was good. Only one complaint and it’s stupid but the chairs outside could be softer but great experience!

Had very gross untrimmed fatty(I mean chunks of blubber) carnitas tacos drowned in siracha and dumped into old corn tortillas that split. I made due with the provided shoestring fries and a condiment cup full of tater salad. Kids and wifey seemed fine with their orders. Will not repeat. Also very noisy, horrible acoustics every chair slide amplified like a building demo.

My favorite breakfast place in Simi. Not too big, not too small. All the essential breakfast stuff. Went here with my date the other day after a hike, never disappoints :)

I came here with my wife a couple Months ago and neither of us were very impressed. The service was a joke. If I ran this place is fire everybody. We sat there while table after table got menus, drinks and had their orders taken and we just sat there with nothing. Eventually we took menus from the front. After some other tables started getting food somebody finally came and took our order. When the food finally came it was t very satisfying. Very over priced and not worth the wait. For a place with so many good reviews and such a unique and cozy setup we were very let down. Won’t be going back here again, there are plenty of breakfast spots around that will appreciate your business more than these people.

Update… Tried the pulled pork omelet and it was great! A wonderful medley of flavors… and a nice portion of food. I highly recommend this for breakfast. Something a bit different was the toast. Must be a new sourdough and it’s delicious. Thanks, Barry!

The owner is a CHEP and petty person. I had order the«Lots of Lox Omelette» and was very disappointed. As I could only find the smallest amount of any kind of lox. It was sad. When I addressed my concern with the owner. His poor attitude was just as disappointing as his sad ass omelette. The PREVIOUS owners were great ! I have lived in the area for over 49 years and have seen this place go through many changes. This owner is the worst yet. I hope he sales the business soon. I would really like a owner that has a heat and soul. God bless.

Really happy to find a restaurant nearby rocky peak hiking trail. We got here around 10ish and enjoyed some delicious banana and chocolate chip pancakes and hash browns. They have both shaded outdoor and indoor seating. Clients are encouraged to chose where they would like to sit. You can sit either inside or outside. I only saw one restroom for both men and women. The staff was great and our food was served timely. I would love to comeback and try other items on the menu. I enjoyed eating here as it has a home feeling to it.

I really enjoyed the local feel of the Old Susanna Restaurant in Santa Susanna. We were in Simi Valley staying with family for a couple of days and they brought us there for breakfast. We had a round of mimosas which were refreshing although I would have preferred a Bloody Mary if they had been available. Our server was friendly enough and her service was adequate although not stellar. I had their chile relleno omelette which was very tasty and included a nice whole jalapeño for added spice and flavor. I also ordered a side of corned beef hash which tasted like it was from a can, nothing special. Overall we had a pleasant outdoor breakfast on their patio and enjoyed our experience. Much better than having breakfast at a national chain.

I can’t believe I have never written as review for this place. I have been here several times after a friend brought me the first time. It is kind of in an off place on Kuehner here in Simi, but it is worth a drive from out of the area. Everytime I have been here it is busy(first good sign) the wait staff are all great(second good sign) and everything I have tried off the menu has been perfect in every aspect(trifecta of good). The omeletes are great as are all of the breakfast offerings. The Chili is off the hook awesome and, well, let’s just say I have never been disappointed by anything I have ordered.
