Let me preface thus by saying that I am somewhat of a salon newbie. I had kept my hair in its natural state for over 8 years out of fear of having to deal with a bad hair do and/​or hair damage.
Today I finally worked up the courage to get a full hair of highlights. I called Bella Gente and requested a short notice appointment. The receptionist asked around to see who was available and was able to book an appointment with Tanya Mulhall.
Tanya asked me how I wanted my highlights. She noticed that I seemed confused, so she googled «caramel highlights» and handed me her phone. I picked out a photo of a girl with multiple shades of highlights and asked Tanya to adapt it to my natural hair color so that I wouldn’t have to re-​highlights every month.
I was really pleased with the result. Exactly what I wanted! I will definitely be back, Tanya is AMAZING!
