Blessington farms is a place you definitely have to experience with family and even friends, but highly suggest bringing a pair of rubber boots to maneuver around the berry farm. It can be really muddy after any rain that hits the area. We were able to pick lots of blackberries and blueberries, unfortunately the day we went the strawberries weren’t ripe for the picking, maybe next time. Oh and don’t forget to bring plenty of water and bug spray just in case. They provide an all natural spray for the other critters that might be annoying you, while you pick berries. Overall come check it out when all the berries are in season and ready to be picked. Berry good, now go.

Our grandson had his 4th birthday party here and it was as fun for the adults as it was for the kids. The slides are super fast, the train is really cute and the trampoline area made me want to get up and jump! There is a spider web for climbing and a maze to get lost in. There is an animal area with chickens, goats and even a camel! There are several very nice picture opportunities throughout the farm with pumpkin piles, an old truck, etc. to use as backdrops. It was very hot when we visited but we had no problem finding a picnic table in the shade. We took snacks with us but saw a food truck and a concession area. You are able to purchase pumpkins there to take home. Small pumpkins are $ 1 which is quite reasonable. We had a great experience and will definitely return next season.

At a friends suggestion, we made the trip out to Simonton for the first time and now that we know our way, we will be back! We had SO much fun at Blessington Farms and when I say«we» I mean me, my parents, my husband and our 3 year old. This was just what we were looking for to enjoy the beautiful weather we’ve been having lately. The price was a little high at $ 10/person, but I understand why — the place is clean, the people are friendly, the lines move quickly, you can go at your own pace AND it’s not overcrowded like other farms like it. We tried it all, but our favorites were the slides, which we all got to slide on and the petting zoo where my son got to hold a chicken, this made him giddy and he loves goats(win-win!). My son also loved the jumping pad, which is apparently new, but a great addition for the smaller kids. The pumpkin patch was great as well, lots of different pumpkins to choose from, along with plenty of photo ops, best of all, no one was rushing you to move out of a nice photo setting. We will definitely be back when it’s time to pick some berries because this is a hidden gem. Thank you Blessington Farms!

Save your money and time and go to Dewberry Farms. The family who runs this doesn’t understand that when thousands of people are paying $ 10 a pop, they expect to be treated as the business patrons they are, not intruders. We were turned away from the hayride by the owner’s grandkids who told us the line was shut down and we couldn’t even wait to see if there was time or room. Then her Dad laughed about it and thought that was funny. Dewberry Farms is 100 times better and more professionally run.

Today’s weather is perfect for a day at the farm! The kids had a blast on the giant slides and the train ride. There are so many things to do: hayride, petting zoo, maze, pumpkin patch, etc. I’m happy to have found this place and will be coming back for more. It’s a wonderful place for a birthday party and there is something for kids of all ages. I have a toddler and she had many things that she could do!

What an amazing first time visit at their Farm Funland! The price is $ 8/person and chasten under 2 is free. Their sales goes towards maintaining the farm, so a great cause all around! Staff is so friendly and welcoming! We came here almost at 10am, the weather wasn’t extremely unbearable til much later in the afternoon! It’s so much nicer to enjoy when there’s not gobs of people, especially children. We loved the farm and plan to return in the Fall! The nice lady caretaker(forgot her name) was so kind trying to ease my little one who was afraid of the goats .she really tried to comfort her. Everyone made our visit enjoyable! It’s a great time for family! All the rides and activities is great for the whole family!!! Come and support Blessington Farm!!! Unfortunately, berries were out for the season! Next time we will be back to pick some!

My daughter and I went here during fall time for their pumpkin patch, slides, sand hill, and the ride. I enjoyed it, my daughter loved it, and we will be returning to pick strawberries soon.

I think it was a Tuesday about 3 weeks ago when we showed up out here, they are always open for some form of berry picking because with four varieties of strawberries there’s only two months out of the year that the strawberries are not producing but there’s also blueberry and blackberry picking and there’s a pond for fishing and hayrides and many other things that you can do. I forget the name of the strawberry that we chose to pick that day but it was the one that was closest to the checkout counter and closest to the parking lot. We couldn’t find any small barry these things were all about the size of a two year olds fist. Even the berries that had some green on them were twice as sweet as the red berries that you buy in the grocery store. So we bought an entire bucket and took it home. We made homemade strawberry pancakes with strawberry syrup and the rest we turned into strawberry juice. Before I had a chance to take a drink of the strawberry juice my daughter had already drink the entire glass. Now mind you it is free to enter the berry picking area, you only pay for what you pick. if you wish to do any of the other activities you have to pay $ 10 per person or $ 8 per person during the week which we chose not to do.

My first time here but I have to say I love this place. They did run out of strawberries by the time we got here so that was a bummer. However anything with nature is hard to predict. To me the drive was still worth it as there were plenty of activities for the kiddos that do not involve anything electronic, which is what I always look for. Just some good old fashioned slides, sand mountain, hay maze, barrel train, hay ride, and petting zoo. We wish we could have picked strawberries but we made the best of it and loved it. Next time we come back out we will be bringing our own picnic. Great job Blessington!

Well run, clean, lots of stuff to do. We’ve befn sorely dissappointed by other ‘farms’ in the Houston area. This one is worth it — even with the drive!

Loved this place! It was only 10 bucks to get in which included all the activities available with the exception of fishing. Wasn’t too big or small. Great size for young kids. Activities were fun for all ages :) pumpkins were kind of limited, but very well priced. we got 3 large pumpkins and a medium size one for 50 bucks, which is a steal. Overall, it was fantastic and I’ll be back every fall! Staff was also very helpful and extremely friendly!

Overpriced too much. Doubled the grocery store retail price, while other farms in other areas of Houston offers ¼ price.

We came here for the first time on Saturday and we had a blast. You get to pick your strawberries, $ 5/pound which can get expensive but my 3 year old getting to pick berries… WAY fun! It was $ 8/per person for admission to the rides and it was completely worth it. There were two slides, a hay maze, a barrel ride, a hay ride and a chicken feeding area. We all had so much fun and we will definitely be returning for pumpkin season.

Wow, this place is awesome for anyone who loves fresh Strawberries! Whether sweet or tangy/sweet. Large, medium or super size, they got it. Now is a great time of the year to come and pick yourself. This week it was $ 3.00/lb. 1st time you come you pay $ 1.50 for a basket and they give you a scissor to use. There were so many, if was hard to chose, but worth the effort. The staff was super friendly and gave great info and advice on how to cut, chose and pick me. Walked out with 4 lbs and will be enjoying these for the next several days. Will I be back, absolutely, next weekend will be their first Easter egg hunt and then I’ll be back at the end of May for Blue Berries, yum and great for you as well.

Good thing they told us what a pound of strawberries looks($ 4.99/lb) like because if you fill up the 5lb basket they give you well that’s $ 25 worth of strawberries. There were a few people with a few baskets and it was fun to pick your own. The funland is wrist bands required and seemed popular on this sunny cool day but I can see it being a swamp in the heat of mid summer. We were camping close by so it was cool to stop over but not sure we’d drive all the way from Houston… they look to be expanding so hey there are popular so if you are undecided pick a nice day and go give it a try.

My husband and I came here to go strawberry picking on a Saturday morning. It wasn’t too crowded and it was fun browsing the aisles looking for great strawberries. Upon our arrival we were given a small basket with a plastic bag in it along with some scissors. They require everyone to sanitize their hands before going to pick the strawberries(yay for cleanliness!). I also like that they have tarps in between the aisles so it’s not too muddy while walking around. We picked about 2 lbs of strawberries and paid $ 5/lb. After coming home, we washed them all thoroughly. The darker ones with red seeds taste like sugar! Delicious strawberries and a fun activity to do. I would definitely recommend visiting this place.

Searching for something healthy and enjoyable for 3 kids ages 1, 5 and 7. They love discovering things and trying out something new. Since I had just moved to Fulshear it was no fun wandering through boxes that needed dumping out, so we loaded them up and off we went even in the rain. This is a super place as a teachable moment, the strawberries hydroponically grown, the hay ride fun for city kids and the pile of sand they can play on has imaginations set wild. This is a new place but so very clean and with the only exception to grand is a wide open large as life porta potty, when you gotta go they thought of everything. A lb of berries is $ 5, well worth the price and oh so yummy who can boast of the picking of berries in December. Hope they continue to grow and be blessed, Staff were super. Don’t wear nice shoes, it is muddy to the max.
