Bob Evans Restaurant

Great food and great service! My grandmother is 88 years old and rarely enjoys a meal without some reason to complain. She had the pot roast and after the first bite said it was amazing! I had the Angus Chop Steak and it was very good as well. Mr. Michael Laster also went above and beyond to make us feel more than welcome. What a Great place to take a break from everything and have a great meal!

Pitiful excuse for a Bob Evans.
Food came out wrong and took a long time.
It’s hard to screw up a salad but they did.
Service was scattered brained at best.
1pm Sunday prime time failure.
The store was not near full.

On our way down to Gatlinburg, TN (7÷12÷15), we were forced to stop here for breakfast during a horrible torrential down-​pour. First of all, if you know Bob Evans, you know already the food was delicious; no sense of describing that aspect of our experience. What I want to focus on is what bad service is like. We were greeted quickly and seated in a booth to accommodate all 6 of us. The hostess took our drink order knowing our server was busy. When our server came over she asked us for our drink order. When we told her we already gave it to the hostess, she looked at us like we were stupid and said, «That’s weird. I am your server!» WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT??? Even my 8 yr old sensed her attitude asking, «Hey mom! Is she mad at us or her co-​worker?» Aside from that, her personality was horrible!!! She had no expression on her face. She didn’t look happy to be there. She didn’t look happy to be alive. In fact, she looked like a teenager who had just been woken up from a deep sleep and was still processing in her mind to… I dunno, breathe? put left foot in front of right? Life is simple… IF YOU DON’T LIKE WHAT YOU DO, CHANGE JOBS!!! She never once came by to ask if we needed refills… AND of course NO REFILLS GIVEN. If it wasn’t for the food, I’d give this restaurant a 1 star for the turrrible, turrrible (that’s correct, 3 Rs in turrrible) service. Maybe you’ll have a better server than ours.
