Really love this place I have been to this locations and it’s always great service and great food this is one of my favorite restaurants never had a bad meal!

This place is pretty good, always good for comfort food, and easy to get to.
One thing is, you need to ask for biscuits early, they always seem to be running out. Also, service is inconsistent. Sometimes amazing, and sometimes not even close.

This is a easy one The Cracker Barrel inviting when you walk in the door, the smell of country cooking in the air is so inviting. Today there was a crowd with people waiting, we where told ten minutes, I have too say I had my doubts because of the crowd, but I believe it was less when our name was called. Way to go C.B.
Once seated our experience was great staff on time very pleasant, the food is what you expect the best comfort food around and leaving with satisfaction. Thank you Cracker Barrel and staff

Oh Glory!!! Their new pumpkin muffin is so yummy!!! The oatmeal and pecan (lightly salted) topping is the perfect match!!! The muffin is moist and the spices are just right!!! I could easily eat one daily for breakfast!!! Too bad my waistline would expand! If you love pumpkin… This is a must! Too bad it’s seasonal!

Food, good but service was terrible this evening… asked for vinegar, onions, and hot sauce and waitress proceeded to take order of a party of eight before bringing the requested condiments… she did grab some oil and leave it on table but not sure why… waitresses need some training… finally got onions at end of meal :(and especially bad as she only had TWO tables to work…

My family eat at Cracker Barrel frequently and I have noticed such a decline in service and the food. Consistency was a big reason why we loved this place. We usually go to the one on Woodruff rd. but since it was just me I decided to stay closer to home and wow.
Cons:
The person taking my to go order did not seem knowledgeable about the menu. The prices are different that Woodruff rd. and they dont allow the same substitions at the same price as Woodruff rd. (per the mgr.)
The bacon was undercooked and very greasy.
Overall, I am disappointed in another visit to a Cracker Barrel and wish their corporate officers/​regional management would get the restaurants (Woodruff rd& Simpsonville) back on track.

NON SERVICE DOGS IN RESTAURANTS, AT THE TABLE IS NOT OK!
We just ate at Cracker Barrel on Grandview in Simpsonville. There was a lady in there, mid 50’s with a small, toy sized dog on her lap while she was eating. Gross! A dog in a restaurant, sitting at the table is nasty. When I asked the girl said, «We only allow service dogs, I don’t know, I don’t think that is a service dog…» There needs to be some sort of national, official process/​certification. This take your dog everywhere is ridiculous. This is a great restaurant, we eat here regularly: however, Managers of restaurants really need to step up and show some respect for the other patrons.
With dog, 2 stars. Without dogs in restaurant, 5.

A reliable spot for Southern comfort food. Don’t expect a gourmet meal. You get good home-​cooked food, good service and fair pricing. My husband loves that they serve breakfast all day and he never skips the Country Boy breakfast. I’m a fan of the pot roast, chicken and dumplings and meatloaf. If you catch the turkey and dressing as a feature, try it.

Always enjoy eating here. Good food and great — friendly service. I always enjoy meat loaf and sample platters. Breakfast is my favorite. Can’t say that we have ever had a bad meal here!
