Pet Valu

Went in at the recommendation of my vet to use the self service pet baths. This is a great concept! Also, Mike manages the store and really made us feel welcome, showed us how everything worked and was still helping other people. This guy doesn’t miss a beat.

Went in to bathe my dog. Great place, clean, choice of shampoo! Very nice and easy experience. I will surely do it again. It was great to be able to accomplish the task on a Sunday early evening !

This is the place to go! We heard you can give your dog a bath there so we brought our 2 dogs today. The owner was so accommodating! Very friendly and helpful! We highly recommend this place. They sell everything you can think of.

This was my first time at a Pet Valu. From what I can tell, this is a smaller pet chain that has been popping up around the state. Most often they seem to be in strip malls and are less than half the size of a typical Petco or Petsmart. I was looking for a particular food bowl for my dog and did not find it here. Their prices for accessories seemed to be double what I’ve seen at Petco. I didn’t look at food prices to compare. They were doing an adoption event the day I was there (with a rescue group) so I thought that was nice, and the employees were helpful. I’m not sure about the location which is pretty much across the street from Petco, so hopefully they have some way to differentiate themselves — it’s definitely not their prices.
