I absolutely love it here! I’ve only gotten takeout but today was the first day I stopped in. I was greeted by the friendly girl behind the counter who gave great and quick service. I ordered the combo of ½ roast beef and Swiss panini with a ½ house salad. I also grabbed a piece of banana cake and a raspberry pomegranate drink. My total was $ 15, which is super reasonable. The food is fresh, full of flavor, and overall delicious. I would highly recommend this establishment for a great lunch!

Was honestly underwhelmed by my experience here. The food was just average, nothing to rave about. Very cute atmosphere, very cozy and really made you feel welcome. But for what my family and I paid for the food and for what we got, I think there are some things missing from this menu… I would advise maybe some higher quality items, things you don’t normally see at a café, whether that be using some locally harvested veggies/different kinds of veggies, or maybe a meat you don’t normally see offered in paninis or flatbread sandwiches. Something out of the ordinary that only Crave can offer me.

What a cute café with plenty of seating and sweetly decorated. Service and food was quick, which I appreciated. They were flexible with my food due to food allergies, four stars for atmosphere, kindness and flexibility. Three stars definitely for food. Generic pickings where they switch around a little of this and that. My soup tasted like spaghetti-o’s with overcooked rice. My veggie sandwich was good. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop here for food but if I was passing by and hungry I would return. We sadly did not try any of the delicious looking desserts.

Sadly, Crave while wildly needed and enthusiastically greeted is a study in mediocrity. The pastry is lousy– the cakes are often under baked, the cookies dry and the pies too sweet and pedestrian. The salads and sandwiches always sound much better than they are. The service is erratic, and a genuine smile is hard to find. I was so excited when they opened, and wanted desperately to love them, but after 8 – 10 visits, I have decided to stay away.

My husband and I have been searching for a favorite weekend lunch spot in Berks County for a long time. As soon as we walked in the door, we suspected that we had found what we were looking for. The atmosphere, a mix between a trendy NY café and an upscale Panera and Starbucks combo, was just what we were looking for. But what would the service be like? Right away, after being greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff, we knew that service was great. But the big test… what about the food? Umm, incredible. We absolutely love it here. The grilled paninis are phenomenal. Even the chips are unique, unexpected, and delicious. Oh and the coffee and desserts? Mmmmmm. Great job Crave Café. Our second trip mirrored the first… perfection! We will continue driving from Exeter to our favorite weekend lunch spot.

I just moved back to the Reading area and was not looking forward to frequenting coffee chains… but then I found out about Crave! This might be my new favorite place in Berks County. There are a huge variety of baked goods, paninis, and salads, and that’s without mentioning the COFFEE. I got a huge frozen chai for less than $ 4! There’s free wifi and a quiet, homey atmosphere — it’s the perfect place to get some work done or have a chat with friends. The service is wonderful — you can tell it’s locally owned. I’m in love with this place!

WELOVETHISPLACE! Our staff eat at Crave Café at least once a week. The food is fresh, and they give the best quality in what they’re serving! We even had two of our staff(Ryan and Adam) do a youtube review on Crave Café, giving them a thumbs up! Awesome to have a great business nearby. Be sure to check them out! :)

A perfect healthy and upscale lunch spot. Just like Panera except better quality and locally owned and operated by a great staff!

I found this place refreshing. My salad was good and they have a nice selection of hot teas. It’s a perfect place to have a small business meeting.

There is something about a local business that makes everything seem better. First the local people are there, so you will probably get a hello and a smile and end with a conversation. Second the didn’t skimp on space. Too many times I can’t even move at a Starbucks because its all about space. How about a fireplace surrounding but comfy chairs on cold days. How about comfort food along with hot coffee for your morning conversation. How about a place to meet your friend, have a cup of joe or whatever people call that these days and indulge in the bakery item of the day or a lemonade at lunch with a pannini or a soup sandwich combo for a light dinner. Here the dirty little secret, they make some of the best cakes you ever tasted, pre order please. Its your Panera without the hype which is why its better

New, much needed café to the area. Great atmosphere and even better food. The combos are huge and Ham & Brie sandwich was great. the Chili was also very good. I got the cornetti and espresso for dessert. Out of this world! if you have never had a cornetto you have to try it. Place is very cozy and food is very fresh.
