I’ve been going here since I was a kid. The wings are the same as back then and the pizza is delicious. I don’t live in Sioux City anymore, but I make sure to eat at Bob Roe’s when I go back to visit. So many great memories here and the food is worth the visit. Service is hit or miss, but Sergio is the best waiter and has been there 20 years. I definitely recommend!

Food: Always really good. I love their wings, especially their new honey mustard wings. Pizza is good. I just hate they give you stupid little packets of ranch if you ever want ranch. It’s weird. Not a gas station! Rest Rooms: Gross. Try to hold it. Drinks: Kinda ‘small’ for my taste, but cheap. So a catch 22 there. Décor: The local sports stuff is really cool to look at. Game Day: TERRIBLETV’s. Don’t come here to watch a game. Has a ‘game room’ for the kiddos. And with that in mind… kids LITERALLY run all over the place. All the time. Awesome for groups. Service is hit or miss. Never ok. Good or sucks. Usually sucks. Building is old and gross. They have daily specials, including fish on Fridays.

Definitely looks like a dive and older inside but great pizza and friendly service! Jumbo pizza and four drinks was right at $ 28 so reasonable prices too!

We were from out of town, and a local told us to visit this place. First off, the service was rude. I waited near the door for over 15 min before anyone greeted me or asked me to seat myself. Once I asked the lady working the near by tables, I could not have been more turned off by her response. If I was not meeting people here, I would have walked away. The food was ok, but nothing special. Would not recommend this place.

The food is tasteless and lacks creativity, the dinning area is run-down and freezing and the restrooms are filthy and even colder than the dinning area. This is a kid friendly restaurant, but unfortunately most of the parents let their children run throughout the dinning area. Most of the servers are attentive and friendly, but one of the bartenders thinks the room temperature needs set for her comfort and not the patrons.

If you’re looking for some great pizza or fantastic buffalo wings, this is your spot. This place is well known by the locals as having the best of both. Make sure to take advantage of their wings Wednesday, it is a great value for some delicious wings! Also, recently I tried their famous Ruben Pizza and it was incredible!

Excellent standard wings. Done fairly crispy and well sauced. Oddly served with sour cream. Good service, too. Made for a nice lunch!

I moved away from Sioux City, but want to know what I miss most about that town? Bob Roe’s wings. That dipping sauce… Gosh there isn’t anything better! Service sometimes isn’t the greatest(due to long food wait times, not the servers themselves. Thus the one star downgrade), but man oh man… the food is worth it! I used to be a regular at wing’s Wednesday… always got the hot wings and breadsticks(which are also MAGICAL). I always enjoyed the pizza as well, but the wings are where it’s at(if you haven’t gathered that already). Also, the owner is pretty good about donating to local fund raisers and such, which is just a bonus. Keep it up Mr. Roe!

Not the friendliest servers. Phone order taker is an atrocity. Abrupt and unfriendly. A warning. They write out your entire card number on the receipt, which is then viewable by everyone involved in the order process! Not good!!!

Good buffalo wings, fries, and beer. Family restaurant, arcade for kids, place is pretty loud inside, not a lot of TVs, I would go again for the wings.

This place was either way better when I was a child or my taste buds have changed drastically. One thing I can say for sure is that the service is almost consistently horrible. Their claim to fame is their pizza and wings. It’s a bar, it’s bar food, but I don’t think it is very good bar food. First Friday of Lent and they ran out of the fish special. Not Catholic, not a huge deal. But it might have been to someone else. What irritated me about it was that I was made aware of this 15 minutes after I had placed my order. So, at that point I ordered something else and waited another 45 minutes for my food. Had wings and a side salad. Wings were pretty skimpy and the side salad was loaded down with bacon and cheese. I wouldn’t recommend it.

So, I wouldn’t say Bob’s atmosphere is amazing, but just try their pizza or hot wings! They have a wing special on Wednesday nights and the place is hard to get into. I’m surprised this place only has two stars. I’ve always enjoyed it here. When the president came to town, he found himself here. I would guess because Morningside College isn’t too far away and any college student who loves wings would recommend this place. If your party will be drinking a lot of pop, order a pitcher. Try the wings and pizza and your taste buds will be dancing!

If you choose to be different… then in the restaurant business you should let your«potential» customers know you are NOT the norm… example: no free soda refills. Just tell people this little known fact… and don’t ASSume they know:). Ordered a medium pizza… pepperoni, hamburger, and cheese. Wow… mega grease poured outta this beast. Ok… now if I was hardcore hungover, this would have, maybe been perfect medicine. I was a hungry beast, but could only put down 3 slices. That’s highly unusual for me since Pizza is my favorite. There are so many good options in this city for pizza that I would never go here for this reason. With that said, I can see this place would be fun if you just want to drink and watch a game. I would have given one star if the«old school» atmosphere wasn’t pretty cool.

I think most either Love or Hate the place. If you have kids, want a place that you can eat and you don’t mind that it’s loud, then this is a pretty decent place to watch the game. Now with B-dubs in town, I think they have lost some of their business. The pizza is darn good. Go outside of your norm and try the BLT pizza. At first you will squint your eyes and try to imagine what is in the actual sauce, but it will keep you coming back and back again until it’s gone. Warning: Pop is NOT free refills. I took 6 younger cousins to eat pizza here for game night. My Pizza bill was 28 bucks and my pop bill was 36 bucks. needless to say I was not very happy with them. Come on man, we know at normal prices businesses are making money on fountain drinks, but to gouge people like that? That doesn’t sit well with me. Charge more for the actual pizza or at least tell your help that when someone orders a second drink that they realize it’s not free, anything, something…
