Not sure where to start. The food was fantastic, the staff was friendly and the prices great. But this hardly seems to do this little gem justice. My husband and I both had the pulled pork sandwich. I rarely eat meat but scarfed mine down because it was that good! They gave us a small roll and we made our toddler a little sandwich that he loved. The baked beans have pineapple which gives the sweetness of baked beans a tart bite. It is truly delicious. Try this place. You won’t be sorry.

Best brisket sandwich I’ve had since I lived in Memphis. The sauce was delicious too. Garlic mashers were perfect. My friend had the Memphis bowl and finished every bite. We will be back!

Great barbecue. Best barbecue in Oregon. Don’t miss the ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. Welcome back to Sisters. We missed you.

Solid BBQ. Casual setting. Nice patio on a warm day, good service. Reasonably prices for decent size portions. Would definitely come back!

Extremely mediocre BBQ, store bought rolls, terrible selection of beer, food was cold, and I paid 20.00 for an amount of food that wouldn’t fill up a 10 year old. Sisters has been so disappointing…

Very disappointing. Not one thing on my plate met my expectations. I asked if the Cole slaw was homemade before ordering and was told it was a 100 year old recipe. Ya right. The cabbage was pre-chopped out of a bag sitting in a pool of runny liquid that was mostly vinegar. Meat was dry and the dinner roll was one of those grocery store rolls that come in the flat boxes. Considering lunch for two was almost $ 40 we could have done much better in Bend. I’m sure the tourists will keep it afloat but I won’t be going back. I have to assume the 5 star review was not impartial. Still looking for good BBQ near Bend!

Dang. I’ve lived in the South, and have a fine appreciation for good barbecue. Not the fake crap that gets passed off as «BBQ» throughout most of the PNW, but real smoke. I’m an amateur smoker myself, so I get some of the nuance that goes into it. The stuff at Slick’s is as authentic and good as it get. Their pulled pork is moist with just enough crispy bits to give it texture, their ribs are tender and complex without the need for excessive sauce, and their burnt ends are about the best I’ve ever tasted. The sausage is nothing less than extraordinary. The service is great too — the owner is genuinely passionate, and on our last visit(we make sure to go every time we’re in Central Oregon) he even walked around with a fresh rack of ribs straight off the smoker, breaking ribs off for customers to try! I won’t hesitate to say that this barbecue is the best in the state, hands down. Highly recommended. And if you have kids, well, Slick’s hand-washing machine(I’ve never seen one like it) will keep them occupied!

Went to slicks last evening really hungry for ribs. Imagine our disappointment when they had none. That’s like going to Taco Bell and not getting tacos. I had a brisket sandwich with too much fat not trimmed off, there were no condiments. My side was beans from a can like I used to eat as a kid. I know this review is harsh, but I have to tell my experience.

Terrific pulled pork, friendly staff and super quick with the orders even though they were clearly busy. Loved this place!
