I stayed here last October and was very pleased by the visit. Some PROS: –Close-by to town. Short drive. –Comfy beds –Very retro which is neat. Some snobs prefer fancy rooms or rooms that have been modernized to death. My wife and I just got a fancy bottle of wine and spent quality time together. In no way does the room impair that. It is clean, it has a TV, it has 2 beds, it has a bathroom. It is a room –I unintentionally purchased two non-refundable rooms. The owner was completely understanding and refunded the additional room. Very nice owner. – Owner is very accommodating in general. Some CONS: – It is by a highway but the noise level did not keep me and my wife awake. – Only 2 prong outlets in each room, but the owner has a three prong adapter that he lends out to his guests – Restaurant nearby is seasonal so if you are off-season, you will have to jump in your car for eats. I would totally stay here again. This absolutely met my expectations of a budget motel. By the bye… and for the record… THEMOTELISCUTE!

It took an hour and a half for the room to heat the room. and it was freezing cold but the shower was hot and I got a free mending kit ;)

Rented 3 rooms at over $ 400. Forgot personal pillow and shower turban; called & they had them. Went back a week later to retrieve and they had thrown them away! WTH? Manager said he had done it and would credit C/C. Nothing yet…

Tried to book a room in town but was all full. So we had to go a mile out of town. Found this Bates Motel which had very old furniture and TV s inside. Small bathroom and soft beds. But the place was clean. Works if you are in a jam.
