Seemed like nice people. But I was told he’d call in the morning before he showed up for the estimate, and he neither called me nor turned up and isn’t returning my calls. I got up early, and have been waiting around for nearly 4 hours now.
Did finally call me. And did admit he had told me he’d call first thing in the morning. The estimate was way over budget though. I’m packing myself, OK? All they’re doing is putting stuff on and taking it off the truck.
1400 dollars to move 2.5 very small rooms + my bicycle & 2 saddles, 161 miles. I’ve never used a mover before, always moved myself, but this seems really exorbitant.
