Metro Male Barbering II

Great local barber shop. Friendly staff, know what they are doing, good conversation… what it is suppose to be like in a barber shop.
Like all other good barber shops… Saturday morning can be busy even with a full staff working every chair so be ready. I take both my kids (Ages 5 & 8) and they do a great job with them also.

Less than impressed with my first experience at Metro Male. My wife gave me a gift certificate for this place and today I tried to redeem it by getting a shave. There were several barbers in the shop, but apparently only one of them knew how to shave, and she was busy with one client the half hour I was there. The other two barbers spent most of their time playing around on their phones or walking in and out of the shop. Not the most welcoming business I’ve ever stepped in to. And it is ridiculous that a business who caters to the barber needs of men has only one person who can shave a face.
Maybe you need to make an appointment and/​or spend more than $ 30.00 to get good service at Metro Male, but I think I’m just going to eat the gift certificate. This was not even close to the kind of experience I was expecting.

This is the first place that gave my son a great haircut. After years of mediocre to terrible haircuts from a variety of places, we discovered this barber shop and are very happy with it.

Great haircut, great atmosphere, and great service. Obviously you will pay more than at Great Clips, but you get what you pay for. Somewhat limited hours make it difficult to get there after work during the week.

Very friendly staff. Jeff is a great barber and makes great conversation as he cuts your hair. The barber shop has a great atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and welcomed.

Can’t speak about the quality of the haircuts from anyone other than the owner.
Awful. The guy may be «cool» but it’s the upscale place it claims to be. Upon walking in the owner was on the phone. 3 – 4 minutes of a loud (he’s a loud talker to begin with) conversation with his daughter he finished up.
The owner just doesn’t know how to cut hair. ended up going directly to my normal place –15 minutes away to get it fixed.
Aside from the awful hair cut — maybe the worse one I ever paid for. The owner isn’t professional. He curses and rushes through everything.
No music playing, tvs weren’t on only the loud owner cursing through a mostly one sided conversation.
I asked for a shave — and he just buzzed down my overgrowth — missing the spot by the ear. He said he doesn’t do shaves after 2pm. Even though I called earlier that day and asked. He never mentioned this after 2pm rule.
Take the money elsewhere.

This is a great barber shop! As a customer of Jeff’s for 10 years, this is truly his best venue. The service is reliable, quick, and all around great. Walk right in for an appointment!

A beautiful new men’s barber shop opened recently in our area. My husband and son were quite pleased with the professional hair cuts, hot shave and treatment received. They have a refreshment bar to make the visit just a touch above the rest. We will be return customers.
