I love this shop. Its very close to my residence. The staff is very pleasant and the store is laid out beautifully. They have a good selection and everyone is very knowledgeable. If they don’t have it, they will order it. Seriously one of my favorite places on earth.

I traveled to the Audubon area from the Jersey shore and brought my knitting with me, of course. I was working on a test knit with a deadline and realized, EEEEP, I accidentally left 1 of my 3 colors at home! I sped over to Yarnings and announced I was in a ‘yarn crisis’(to be funny…) The ladies are so friendly and helpful. The store is gorgeous with lovely choices and a wide variety. I drove away 20 minutes later with 3 different color choices(all wound and ready to be knit up), plus an unexpected button purchase to complete a cardi FO. Thank you Yarnings. You guys rock! Wish I really lived in the area. You’d be my LYS choice, for sure. Best, Linda, from ‘down the Shore’

I had an embarrassing and unfortunate situation at Yarnings recently. One of my friends organized a road trip to Skippack for our knitting club to go there. She had visited in the summer and arranged with the owner for us to visit and was told we would have the opportunity to purchase yarn and work on a cowl neck scarf. When we got there, some of the women decided not to make the scarf and went shopping. When we went to pay for our yarn, my friend was told the class would be $ 20. She was quite surprised by this since there was never any mention of a charge. They were rude to her when she questioned it. I don’t think we will be going back anytime soon. Too bad because it is a cute town with fun shops and restaurants.

This is the most wonderful shop! Fantastic inventory and wonderfully friendly and helpful staff! I live in Newtown Square, PA(Delaware County). We have a yarn shop 1 mile from my home. I drive over 30 miles to Yarnings because of the service!

This is the best yarn store I’ve ever visited. Hands down. An incredible assortment of yarn that goes far beyond the brands you see everywhere, in a warm, inviting two-story house. Room after room of beautiful yarns, in a wide range of fibers, colors and textures, and lots of sample garments and swatches. I’m looking forward to the classes they offer throughout the week, as well. The owner is welcoming and helpful. If you love to knit or crochet, find the time to get to Yarnings. Soon. You won’t be disappointed.

What a lovely shop. The owner is awesome, the place is warm and welcoming – I like that they have store copies of books so you can look before you blindly order. The owner was lovely to my daughter, made great suggestions for yarn and gifts, and let me just roam to my little hearts content. Great selections and just a wonderful store.

This is my most favorite yarn store in the area(so far) — its a real treat from the Philly stores that have great stash but no space. Yarnings is in cute lil Skippack and has two floors of spread out and ideally arranged yarn in every blend, style, color, and feel imaginable. I’ve gotten lost here for hours, and it’s a real treat to make a day out of visiting Skippack(which if you’re going from the city, you need to do, because it’s not close by peoples –we’re talking a good hour from Fairmount). O, ******* NOTETOTHEWISE ********** They have an Inventory Blow-Out, in the grand tradition of the phrase, every January. It’s amazing.
