Greenspan-Weisz Vision Specialists

Had a visit with Dr. Greenspan. He has TERRIBLE breath. He is a good doctor who knows his stuff and is very talkative. Office space is small but clean.

Dr. Greenspan made my visit extremely comfortable, he’s extremely professional as well as very pleasant. Nothing but good things to say about this Dr., his cat secretary & wonderful service. He even laughs at my goofy jokes :) Highly recommended!

I was not a review person but this old mean rude doctor made me do this, he had been seeing my son from past couple of yrs and he knows he is autistic non verbal takes some time to process my son is very happy giggling easy going 9 yr old on my last visit he PULLED HIS EAR to correct his head his ear turn red still my son was giggling i saw that i was really pissed off i control my self i left the office and will never go back again, never recommend him for kids!! adults can handle him very well. Bad doctor bad attitude cats fur is everywhere in his office.

In all my years of seeing optometrists, I would say Dr. Greenspan is definitely my favorite. He is very professional, getting me and my husband in and out of appointments in a good amount of time while still getting everything done that needs to be done. My four year old just had his first appointment, and Dr. Greenspan made the who process so fun and interesting, I don’t think my son even realized he was getting his eyes checked! Looking forward to seeing Dr. Greenspan for many years to come!

I’ve seen Dr Greenspan personally for the past few years, and he’s always been fine. Easy to reach, explains everything clearly, gives practical advice, and will help you save money on your visit.
Recently, I took my 5 year old to her first visit as a kindergarten requirement. HE WAS AMAZING! He put her at ease as soon as we arrived, making jokes, and making everything really clear and child-​friendly. He was able to make each part of the exam enjoyable for her, and she laughed quite a few times. He explained everything very clearly to me and explained all the tests he was doing without making her nervous at all. It was very quick and easy– and as soon as we left, my daughter asked when we could go back! She is rarely comfortable with any doctors, so this speaks really highly of Dr Greenspan’s skill. I highly recommend him to any family looking for a personable, skilled optometrist.

If you’d like to work with someone who’s experienced, I highly suggest visiting Dr. Greenspan. I feel that he cares for my vision on personal basis and makes recommendations that are in my best interest. He’s thorough and communicates clearly during every step of the process.
His hours are also convenient for me since I work from 9 to 5 on weekdays. (He’s available Sundays and some evening hours). I’m glad Dr. Greenspan was the first choice from my eye insurance plan! A+

Can’t believe I am the first to post a review for Dr. Greenspan! I can say I have never met an optometrist that was sooo good with kids! My kids had so much fun just getting their eyes checked! He has so many little gadgets and tricks to get your little one to do exactly what he needs them to do without them even knowing they are being tested. He is very informative, educates you in the process and explains everything in great detail with clarity. He is efficient and gets you in and out in a jiffy.
I don’t believe he has a secretary or receptionist as he returned my call, scheduled the initial appointment, filled out all my forms, ordered my daughters glasses, handled the insurance stuff and scheduled the follow-​up too. Gotta admire that! I am very impressed by Dr. Greenspan. If you live in the Skokie/​Evanston/​Niles/​Lincolnwood area a special trip to his office, especially if you have kids, is worth it. Great Optometrist and so glad he is our family’s new eye doctor.
