So far the best dentist i ever had I just came from the second appointment with Dr. Freeman, after thorough exam he explained everything and did fillings in 4 teeth. Now i am waiting for estimation of my bridge and will most likely come back soon. He works with his assistant Dala and they are good team i can tell. They know what they are doing. Will post update after bridge work.

When I see reviews from profiles without photos also known as «question mark heads», to me that’s exactly what they are. A questionable review. The one question mark head review which shows information which I can confirm & relate to in my experience is the one from Richard K. on 8÷5÷2009. Of the many dentists whose services I’ve experienced over the years, one dentist whose services stand out is Dr Louis Freeman. I have had dentists that went the rough route. As in treatment. Whether in explanations of work or when performing duty in your mouth, they took the brazen approach. Headstrong doing as they saw was the best way. My experience with Dr Freeman was much different. He explained everything down to the last detail. Explained what his diagnosis was, how he planned to treat and finally how and what to do at home after treatment. He also discussed with me follow up treatments and costs related since I was paying out of pocket. Getting dental services without insurance here is pricey. More so than other dentists I’ve been to on the North side of Chicago, in my experience. Nowadays though, one can find many dentists with new patient deals and specials on having a cleaning with x-rays and etc, so it’s always wise to call around. An aspect to consider though is no matter how great a deal can be, you have to do your homework and decide what’s best for you. I.e. reviews, word of mouth, etc. I have a relation that has been using Dr Freeman and they are satisfied so I took a chance. I specifically like his attention to detail(as mentioned above) and his care about my personal comfort. If he feels that the work is too intensive he will suggest breaking up the treatment or taking time to complete. In my experience, I’ve had dentists that rushed through or made me feel like I was being too sensitive. Previously, I had a long time family dentist whom, towards the end started to have arthritis so he would routinely stab my gums and inner cheeks. He would then blame me for shifting while he worked! Sometimes dentists can be like car mechanics, you have to be really careful about who you allow to work under your hood! So far I’m happy here. You won’t find a lot of dentists like this one.

Ruined my molar. Had to get a root canal after he did the filling. I should sue him for malpractice

I went to him a couple of times years ago, horrible. Poor work. Careless.

Dr. Freeman is a Professional, You Can Trust Him For two solid decades my family has used Dr. Louis Freeman’s services. He’s helped my wife and two children take care of their teeth. Dr. Freeman inherited me as a patient long after my bad dental habits and soft teeth had created the cavity filled orifice known as Rich’s mouth. It’s probably not easy being my dentist. But Dr. Freeman is thorough, always explains what he’s about to do, and does it as painlessly as possible. Let’s face it, going to a dentist can be painful. But for limiting my pain, and helping me keep my teeth in the best shape, I’ll trust Dr. Freeman. I have for two decades. Parking is easy for his office, it’s located just opposite the old Skokie Theater in downtown Skokie. Call for an appointment today.
