Wendy Shorr, DDS

Dr. Shorr is wonderful! She has great clinical skill and also she cares about you! I had bleaching with her, it turned out great! Frond desk lady is very sweet too!

Dr. Shorr is fabulous. She cares and relates to her patients in a way they understand. She constantly urges me to instill good habits by reminding me that the most beautiful women in their 40s and 50s have nice teeth :) She’s appealing to my vain side.
Most importantly, I trust Dr. Shorr. Most dentists just drill away, while Dr. Shorr uses new technology (new to me, at least) to show me my teeth on a live cam. Great, at that point I just lie back on the pillow they give me, allow them to cover me with a blanket and let them do their business.
Honestly, maybe it’s a spa, maybe it’s the dentist. Who knows?

I never thought that I would feel so strongly about a dentist but Dr. Shorr and her staff truly exceeded my expectations.
First off, the office is very clean and modern with state of the art equipment. Dr. Shorr took photos of my dental problems and carefully explained the procedures I needed to have done. I really appreciated her thoughtful explanation and personalized patient care. I never had a doctor who really takes the time to get to know you and guide you through the exam in a comfortable and friendly manner. I received great care from everyone in her office– from Vivian, her receptionist who really helped to get me in with my busy schedule and her sweet technician who taught me how to properly floss (its the best lesson I ever learned at the dentist’s office!).
I liked Dr. Shorr so much that I actually paid the fees to see her out of my insurance’s network! That really says a lot!
Since then, I’ve moved to NYC and am still searching for dental care that was as exceptional as the care I received from Dr. Shorr.
