You definitely have to arrive early to save your spot closer to the screen. You’re competing for clear views with trucks & SUVs, otherwise further away from the screen the more faded the films become. Before night falls it’s a great time to tailgate and prep your windshields! Recommend you get your snacks before the start or during intermission, the line for popcorn & a drink took at least 15 min., friend of mine came to find me because I was gone so long. Hopefully, the staff will get more practice ringing people through. Snacks are priced right, not overly priced like your normal theaters. Drive-ins are still a fantastic way to spend summer evenings with friends & family!

Absolutely love this place! Where else can see two movies for so cheap. They make sure large vehicles park in the park. Which is still a great view and nice to sit in the back of the truck with pillows and blankets and cuddle. I love that you can bring your own food and drinks. They play the sound over a radio station and everyone has it on so you can hear outside your vehicle. They have indoor bathrooms You can also purchase some perfectly priced and delicious snacks from the concession stands. Always a good idea to get thee early and get the best spot.

I came to Skowhegan to see friends, and was lucky enough to attend the Stephen King fundraiser. I absolutely love drive-ins, and this one is great! There’s grass to sit on, if you don’t want to stay in the car, and great people running it. The popcorn at the snack bar gets very high ratings for being yummy! I’ll be here every time I’m in the area!!!

After checking both the Facebook AND website(both which stated they were open on Memorial Day) I drove 40 minutes with my wife and kids to see Epic and Iron Man 3. We got there at 630 and sat there waiting until 8 when people just starting walking in. Turns out no one showed up to show the movie nor did they let anyone know. The new owner is a jerk off who doesn’t know how to run a business. It was heart breaking for myself to see my kids(and everyone else’s) so sad. I’ve been coming here for 20 years but never again will I support this business.

If you love drive-ins, you’ve got to come here! It’s a classic case of nostalgia… ATMOSPHERE: It’s just off the highway, and yet, in the middle of the woods. (Welcome to Maine, LOL!) Perfect to see a scary movie… THEDEAL: When I lived in Maine, I loved coming here on weekends, to enjoy a cheap double feature, w/lots of take out food & fun.

(score 1 – 100) — 91. This is equivalent to the dark and dingy diner in the middle of no where america that serves unbelievable home cooked food. No the food is not like that but it’s still a gem in the middle of no where. When was the last time you’ve been to a drive-in? There are so few left I almost feel like it’s a civic duty to go when presented with a chance… This is a double feature drive-in .meaning you get to watch two movies for the price of one! The tickets are 6 bucks per person so bring your friends! The concession stand is like something trapped in a time capsule… penny candy and dollar hot dogs.etc. Bring a meal, a blanket and enjoy a little 1950s nostalgia!

this place is so much fun in the summer-and everyone should take little kids, as the drive in is a dying form of entertainment! really cheap snacks, 2 movies, very reasonable admission… plus you get to be outdoors… sort of like a nighttime picnic with a movie!!! one of the very last ones in new england! such a treasure!!!

I’ve always liked this place. Its a cool drive in theatre and the concession prices are very reasonable. I remember when I was young and smelling pot there for the first time.
