We just moved into the area and were looking for a good breakfast place. We found it here! The food is great and the prices are very reasonable. Staff was very polite and attentive. We will be returning often!

Happy Fathers Day All! My Daughter wanted to take me out to breakfast before church this morning and I suggested Susie’s. We got there just as the place was filling up and it was jammed in about five minutes, no problem as the staff had things under control and everything came out in a timely manner. My Daughter had the Blueberry Pancakes(made from scratch) two pancakes that were the size of MANHOLECOVERS while I had the Eggs Benedict with home fries. And while maybe the EB wouldn’t make the cover of a food magazine it was big, sloppy and SINFULLYDELICIOUS along with some of THEBEST home fries I have had in a long time. Coffee was fresh and the ladies made sure the cup didn’t get dry. My Daughter got a Hot Chocolate and they put the whipped cream on top at the table. I don’t know about the rest the day but BREAKFASTRULES at Susie’s. Yes the locals come out in full force and oh I forgot to tell you the prices are VERYREASONABLE. The spirit of Susie lives on! Just go!

Just one word… meh. The grill cook in the morning is a miserable soul. No love in the cooking and it shows. If you don’t live around here get ready to be stared at by the ornery locals. Also make sure you get your cholesterol checked after you eat here. When I was younger we would hit this place for a 0600 breakfast and more often than not I would throw up on the was to the job site. Never figured out why ’till I went to culinary school. They used to cook with strait lard.

Advice to the health concious– Don’t eat here. I think Susie invented the words greasy spoon! They use lard, which I think is amazing(but I’m a fat kid). The hashbrowns are beyond awesome. Actually, anything breakfast is super. They make a mean steak sandwich too i’ve been told. Susie recently passed away, but thankfully her homey-ness is lingering.
