I’ve been here twice. Both were great experiences. My best friend had to have a mammogram and biopsy and was sent here for it. Her doctor found a lump and was worried about it since both of her parents had passed away the year before from cancer. She was terrified(so was I) and wanted me there with her throughout the process. The technician who did the mammogram was understanding and didn’t think it was weird when my friend asked if I could go with her for the procedure. When I made a joke to lighten the mood and told my friend she had a «nice rack» the tech laughed(I mean, come on. That’s funny.) and when her nerves got the best of my friend and she started to cry(which made me cry, too) the tech gave us a few minutes to gather ourselves. The test results were back in a few days and thankfully everything was fine. The second time I had to come here it was for my little girl to have a chest X-ray. This time our tech was a young guy. He was really patient with his young patient. I’m not sure how familiar you are with six year olds, but it’s not exactly easy to get them to stand still for a X-ray. At one point he’d positioned her *just so* for the X-ray and said, «ok, now look up at your mommy». She did, but also moved a bit in the process. He then said, «while moving your entire body simultaneously»(his attempt at a joke since he then had to come and reposition her) and what do you think she did? Just that. She started to shake her arms and legs and do the booty shake. LOL… apparently someone didn’t tell him six year olds take everything literally. He did finally get the shot and was really sweet. When we left the lady at the front desk gave her a lollipop. It wasn’t the cast she had asked for, but she was really excited to get the candy anyway. This is a wonderful facility with wonderful employees and you are in great hands should you ever need to come here.
