John Slidell Park

Nice little park with several ball fields. Most areas do not allow dogs. No fenced dog area. Rating is for dog friendliness.

This is a nice shady park to bring your kids to get out some of that endless energy kids seem to have. There’s lots of great playground equipment and lots of space to run around.
It’s also dog friendly and I see lots of people walking and playing fetch with their pups here.
During youth baseball season this is the place to be. The games and practices have the park filled with the adoring fans (mom and dad and grandparents ;)) of the baseball players.
Several great walking/​jogging trails await you here as well. Come play at John Slidell Park! You’ll have fun, I promise!
