Kohl’s

I absolutely love this place. I must admit I didn’t exactly like the store at first. They didn’t have a lot of things when I went twice before, I felt like it was more or less picked through and very unorganized. I didn’t actually find something I liked until visiting the Covington store and that’s when I decided to give the Slidell location another try.
One of their best kept secrets is their rewards program. You get $ 5 khols cash for every $ 100 you spend and you have about a week or two to use it because they do expire. But you use it exactly as the name says, cash. I spent $ 500 there from my Christmas money and ended up getting a double promo for joining the same day and I got $ 50 khols cash. I ended up going back a week and a half later and getting 5 tops for $ 1.61!!!
Also they have an app you can download for free and it’s great use for in the store. It comes with a built in scanner that allows you to scan things on sale so you know their actual price going to the register.
Staff is very friendly and I especially like the fact that they have kids clothes, men’s, shoes, housewares, and clothes for myself as well! Great store, you just have to know when to shop and never buy anything at full price.

I have a kohls near me but it’s always a crazy mess… this Kohls was nice and I found some gorgeous boots to bring home with me :) good times and I love getting new shoes (I’m a girl come on)

I’m in trouble. Big trouble. I was super excited when I learned that Slidell was getting a Kohl’s. This department store has it all. Upscale makeup, super cute clothes at affordable prices, household furnishings and appliances, jewelry and even greeting cards. Need a baby gift? The baby department is large and has plenty of great clothes and toys that would be perfect for a gift.
When I went here to check it out soon after the grand opening I was greeted by a nice employee who offered me a coupon for twenty percent off just for applying for a credit card. I love a deal, so of course I did and was soon presented with a temporary credit card along with the coupon. See? I’m in trouble now.
Now if only Kohl’s carried booze…
