I dropped off a purple Cashmere sweater that I’ve owned and loved for ten years. The sweater they gave back to me was no longer a size Large, but a Small. Yes! They shrunk my sweater that I have worn to overseas trips and for every cold mardi gras. I specifically told the woman behind the counter, multiple times, that it was Cashmere. Oh, and there was also a huge hole in the neck. Run Away!!!

They’re not cheap, and the staff is a little short with people, however they are very, very good dry cleaners. I brought in a short the other day, and when I called to see if it was ready, the employee said, «we found a wrinkle, and it needs to be pressed out. We need a few more minutes.» Attention to detail can be found here.

If I could put zero stars I would and that says a lot because I’m laid back and very easy to please/work with. I came in last week(June 12) and dropped off my military uniform for dry cleaning and wanted military creases and collars flat. The woman was rude and un-welcoming right off the bat, I’m not sure if she was semi retarded or intentionally being rude(seriously). She was a older white lady with brown hair and glasses. I asked for the military creases and she had no idea what I was talking about and acted pissed that I was even trying to explain it, to me it is ridiculous that this is your profession and you wouldn’t know what that is. Also I asked for the collars ironed flat and again she acted baffled like I was the retarded one. I even put the uniform on and tried to show her what I was talking about and said very nicely«do you know what I mean?» she still said no… again Im not sure if she was rude or just that ridiculous. So I was about ready to leave without dropping off my uniform and at the last second she said well the people at the presses where we take them probably know, I should have trusted my instinct but didn’t and gave her my uniform. So I came to pick them up and walahhhh! No military creases and the rest pressed very lightly, and they charged me $ 21.00!!! I said there are no military creases on here she said well I put it on the order, and I said ok well they aren’t here she said do you want me to drop it off again and acted like I did something wrong again I said no at this point I’m scared to. Very rude and not knowledgable at all would be the summary of my experience, I did get a «I’m sorry» as I walked out which was meaningless. I hate that their sign out front says«god bless» because there was nothing about that place that was nice other than the sign. I guess they mean god blesses them by ripping people off, this uniform is about a $ 30 uniform and I paid $ 21 there to have it cleaned and in-accurately pressed, now I will have to take it somewhere else to have it pressed right because that was half the point in taking it in. The only good part of this situation was that my 9 year old son was there and I told him once we left that,“son that’s not the way you do business or treat people” and he said«yes daddy I know». So «god bless» you for the rip off, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Now I just have to find a real dry cleaner in Slidell?
