Honestly, places that serve only Pepsi products should be condemned. But the bread is pretty Gucc.

I liked how friendly and courteous all the staff were. The cashier who took out order was very patient and detailed. The ladies who served the order were very friendly too. I thought that soup was a little warm but not hot, even considered taking it back to ask for it to be reheated. Both of the Italian sandwich orders were supposed to have pickles but did not have them. Overall, I like Panera Bread. I also liked the choice of drinks — iced coffee and tea that you can pour as much as you’d like, mango tea, coffee, delicious. Their bakery has excellent choices.

So I have in general had pretty decent experiences with Panera Bread. Today, not the case. This was our first time eating at this location. I ordered the Frontega chicken panini. There was a large chunk of cold chicken inside. When I took it to the counter, I was told there was no possible way their chicken could be raw because after they cook it, it is heated back up by the panini press. This piece was still cold and very very pink. Everything my boyfriend ordered was delicious, I just wish they checked their shredded chicken for raw meat… very unappealing.

I’ve worked at Panera. Bread is made in a factory somewhere and dough is driven to stores every night. Then it is baked. Turkey and ham are pre packaged like what you find at Wal Mart. All other meat is frozen. Cookies and pastries are also frozen and baked. Pasta is frozen and microwaved. The soups are also frozen and heated up. Most things here are not fresh nothing is actually cooked! Don’t waste your money here go get the same stuff fresh somewhere else and for cheaper! This is just fast food like anywhere else, just a different kind.

If you want to spend $ 11 and go away hungry for lunch this is the place for you. I’m with one of the reviewers who just doesn’t understand the attraction of these places. I would much rather go to a local place and spend money there — I assure you I’ll probably get better food, less expensive and help a local business owner, although I guess this Fremeaux location is a franchise, but still big business. Truth be told I really went into Panera because I wanted to try ApplePay — very cool and easy by the way. The wifi is a joke in this place — wouldn’t stream music from a website or load my email account — had to leave wifi and use connection from my phone which worked — and I use SPRINT and you know that service is crap(wink) so Panera wifi is worse than crap!!! :-) The half sandwich and soup tasted ok, but it wasn’t anything special. I’m kinda excited for BJ Brewery opening next door — the one in Florida is really cool. I wonder what kind of lunch I can get there for $ 11?

I truly don’t get the attraction and love of this place. I will preface my remarks by saying that I do own a restaurant and a restaurant that is a direct competitor to Panera. My comments are based on my experience as a consumer, not a competitior. The décor and atmosphere is very good. It felt warm and welcoming and I liked that feel(much better than my own, truth be told). I was confused by the menu as nothing on the menu told you what was on/in the sandwich salad. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Panini(full sandwich) and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. My order came out quickly and the staff was cordial and helpful. The sandwich, to my surprise, came with tomatoes and bacon(neither of which was mentioned on the menu). The soup appeared institutional(from a can with cost being the primary concern). It was fairly tasteless and had WAY more carrots than anything else. The chicken sandwich had MAYBE2oz of chicken(see photo), the bacon was typical institutional and frozen, and I tasted no chipotle seasoning at all. The bread on the sandwich was toasted just the way I like it. The bread with the soup was good as well. All this costs $ 15.00, much more than it was worth. For me, there are too many other places doing similar things MUCH better. I don’t understand the blind loyalty to this place, but I don’t get Dairy Queen either. Go figure.

Absolutely loved the place. I brought my laptop, and had lunch with the husband. After we had a great lunch with the Chipole Chicken Panini, and I had the chicken Avocado BLT, everything was fresh, and the ice tea was awesome. After I wrote a little while I went back for coffee and desserts. All great and to die for. I highly recommend everyone to try it even if it’s just for desserts. I can’t wait to go back it’s my newest favorite outing, because I can enjoy a good cup of coffee, lunch, soup or sandwich and write in a corner.

Clean, efficient and fresh food. First came across Panera only 2 years ago and was impressed by it and still do. Had a classic salad, a Mediterranean flat bream and a pesto pasta. All cam out greaT and fast considering it was smack middle of lunch time still that did not matter in the service timing. Definitely consider buying the company stock.

I’ve been a couple of times and the service inside the restaurant is amazing however the drive thru may need a little work. I had one person in front of me and spent 15 to 20 minutes in line for a iced coffee! The lady in front only had a small bag handed to her so I know it wasn’t a big order. I was about to call the store and tell them that the line is taking way to long. Even the man behind me was trying to back out of the line because of how long it was taking. When I finally got to the window I told the lady that it took way too long and she cocked an attitude and said«they took too long», pointing to the people in the kitchen. When I got my iced coffee it was watered down and they told me they charged me for a frozen coffee on accident. The food there is great but that drive thru line is ridiculous.

I pulled in right at 9PM when they were closing up, the staff was upbeat, friendly and ready and willing to take my order. They were efficient and the food was hot and delicious. Thanks to Heather, the manager on duty, for allowing my business even though they were closing.

I cannot express how ecstatic I am that Panera is now in Slidell. The location is very centrally located and easily accessible(though the parking lot is currently is a bit small given the popularity of Panera). They have a great selection of menu options, including several healthy/low calorie options. That is great because one of the allures of Panera is their desert selection! Try a vanilla cupcake-you won’t be disappointed.

Woo hoo! So happy to have a Panera in Slidell! 3 words: Cinnamon.Crunch.Bagel. Oh yes, with hazelnut cream cheese. Went on Tuesday and they were fairly busy with plenty of smiley new employees who were very eager to help. I hope their enthusiasm sticks around! :) I also like their frozen mocha drink. I haven’t had lunch there yet, but if it’s just like any other Panera, I’ll be happy with any sandwich made with Tomato Basil Bread… Smells and tastes so yummy! Pretty decent location, just at the entrance of the Town Center, across from the maybe Starbucks coming soon. Btw, this Panera also has a drive thru!

Just opened and running smoothly! Great service and good food! Very quiet in the mornings(hope it stays that way) and crowded at lunch. Got the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on Baguette and it was perfect. Hot fresh coffee and pastries everywhere.
