Pho House

We were just passing by and ever since I know la has a lot of Vietnamese people I know I have to try phở restaurant when I am here… And here I am!!! I did a search on Unilocal there are so many phở restaurants around but only this one is on the way.
The restaurant is very open and with lovely decors. Their many is simple — which is a plus for me. I ordered their phở house large. And spring rolls. I am not disappointed! The soup is very flavorful and with a lot of meat. The waitress is very very nice and very considerate of all customers. She is experienced because she knows not to fill up the water all the way for kids so they won’t spill. And refilled out water without us asking. We also order bubble tea and it is way too sugary for me but because I haven’t had it for a long time so maybe just me been picky. If we ever have a chance to come back we will!!!

Good food, wholesome environment, and great service. I enjoy sitting in Phở House for a hot Phở on a cold day. Try the Phở House Combination Phở.

I’m glad we passed by here. Great service and relaxed atmosphere. I had the bun bo hue instead of my usual combination phở and the broth was wonderful as was the amount of spiciness and combination of meats. My husband had the phở house phở (combination phở) which was decent not the best ever but still good. The spring roll appetizers were good as expected and the café sua da (ice milk coffee) was a large portion and good (not the best ever but still good). Definitely hits the spot if you’re looking for a tasty bite of Vietnamese food :)

Just moved to the area and I stopped here my first night for dinner. It was great. Good friends and a wonderful hostess. The food was so yummy!!! I highly recommend.

Just looking for a quick bite on my way home to Texas from Florida. I picked the right place! This is the real deal… banh mi, delicious! Grilled beef vermicelli, delicious! Egg rolls, delicious! Phở, delicious! The owners are very sweet and hospitable. Prices are very reasonable. Best phở restaurant I’ve ever been to.

Love this place! We go to this place about twice a month and never had a bad meal. My husband always order the salmon shake while I would go back and forth with pork chops with eggs, bam-​i, or phở. Try the smoothie with boba peals. Delicious!

The food here is seriously AMAZING! Best Phở I’ve had since I live here! I consider myself quite the food snob and everything was tastey and cooked perfectly!

Moving to Slidell, I was afraid to never find a phở place as good as I had. But lo and behold, Phở House delivered. The broth of the brisket phở is flavorful and there’s meat aplenty. The spring rolls are adequate and they allow you to order in pairs, so your pants won’t snap off after the meal (it’s usually four whether you like it or not).
The place itself is nice and lively with New Orleans themed aesthetics scattered about.
The real star here though is the waiter we’ve always had — Burns. Attentive, social and quite the character. Most enjoyable service I’ve had in a long time. If you’re familiar with Vietnamese food, go. If not, go try it. You might walk out a fan.
Tip — load your broth with the two sauces at the table (careful with the red one, it’s a bit spicy) for a great added flavor.

Enjoined lunch on the weekends. Great place to stop in for a healthy lunch. Did not know this place was so good. The menu is easy enough to understand, and we try to order something different every time. This Is a great substitute for the Korean House in Metairie which is to far to drive when you just want a smaller meal.

Good food, better service. Highly recommended. The beef tip Phở is great, and I always get the jackfruit bona tea.

Great Phở. The broth was really flavorful. The noodles really tender & the vegtables very fresh. The spring rolls were very good as well. Very clean, comfortable, & cozy atmosphere. To have fresh & affordable dining options we need to support local businesses.

Food is always consistently good. I always get the pork and spring roll rice noodle bowl. Yum! The fresh spring rolls are delish too!

Great place! We stopped in on our way home from Gulf Shores & we were not disappointed! Phở was made fresh & tasted great! We also had an order of spring rolls & egg rolls. The egg rolls were excellent & the spring rolls were okay. Next time we will just order the egg rolls. Phở portion is very large & came with plenty of meat. We will be back!

Started with the Bahn Mi. Very good. Not Hong Kong market good but still satisfying. Moved on to the Grilled Pork and Spring Roll Bun. Fantastic! Really, really delicious. Their Fish Sauce is one of the best I’ve had. Not too fishy, not too sweet. Just right. Decided things were going so well I needed to finish off with the Vietnamese Crêpe. It to, really good. But, wait a minute, is that a hair I just uncovered? Hiding underneath? Why does this seem to only happen to me? Showed it to the waiter, asked for the bill, got charged for the dish I couldn’t eat. Yuck!

Finally, a healthy place to eat that is satisfying and easy on the wallet. If you want to get away from fast good and greasy American fare, this is the place for you.
All of their produce tastes as fresh and fragrant as if it was plucked from a garden right after we ordered. Depending on what you select, the meat can be light (like in the chicken noodle soup), or richer and tastier (like in the lemon-​pepper chicken). Either way, the meat is tender and perfectly cooked.
This place is cheaper than Phở Bistro on Gause and is of a much higher quality ($ 24 per visit including tip for two people vs. $ 30 for similar entrees). You won’t leave hungry; it’s indeed possible to doggy-​bag some of that magic so you can re-​live the experience at home.
Furthermore, the place is clean, neat, and elegant. No odd smells around here, unlike Phở Bistro. This is also one of the few restaurants in Slidell that isn’t blasting Faux News but instead the more tolerable CNN. Our waiter, who seemed to be either the son or nephew of the owner, was very polite and nice. I found his somewhat shy yet happy and youthful demeanor endearing.
This is definitely the best Vietnamese restaurant in Slidell, and you must go to experience the deliciousness that awaits your mouth.

So far the best place to go in Slidell for Vietnamese food whether it be the noodle soup or Bahn Mi sandwich.

As far as Vietnamese food goes, this place is definitely good. They had my favorite, the beef stew, I substituted noodle for the bread, and when it came out, I was happy. $ 10 including tax and tip. Clean, spacious, friendly folks, on the way home. What more could you ask for?

Finally… a place in Slidell with decent Vietnamese! We have been here a couple times already and both times satisfied my Vietnamese craving! The broth for the Phở is actually pretty good. and not too salty/msg’y. The rice plates. with porkchop/​egg/​rice is pretty good too… They also have Banh Mi, Bun, and other Rice dishes. $ 8.95 for a large Phở Dac Biet… Like any Vietnamese place. you go in hungry. and leave smelling like fish sauce! ;) not always a bad thing. I guess. The service is friendly and fast and the place is clean. Thank you Phở House!
