EXCELLENT! So glad we stopped in — traveling & used Unilocal to find the perfect roast beef poboy. Very friendly staff as well.

Worth every calorie! We had the sloppy roast beef and shrimp po-boy. Bread was delicious and we inhaled every bite of both large sandwiches! Don’t know how we had room but topped it off with warm bread pudding. Great dive bar food at wonderful prices!

Great poboys! The only thing I don’t understand is why is the oyster poboy so expensive? Almost $ 17.00 for a 10 inch poboy with maybe 12 oysters on it… I love this place but I won’t be buying an oyster poboy from there.

We were coming from Destin to Florida via 12 freeway and there was a lot of traffic… We got out to fill up gas and eat… I checked for small restaurants and I found«PO-BOYFACTORY»… A very small place across Walmart(Neighborhood Center). The Sausage Po-Boy was excellent and huge. The staff were friendly… Recommended… It closes at 3:00PM.

I’ve tried to go a few times in the past month or so, and they have been closed each time. Their hours are still on the door, but I believe they shut down. I’m only giving it a 1 bc they should either say the business closed, or be open during posted hours.

I remember when this place opened in the 70’s and was glad to see it still here in 2012. That says a lot. The owner is very friendly, courteous, and accommodating, and grateful for your business. This shop is small, but the Po Boys are fresh with the Best damn Real French Bread you can get. If you love Leidenheimer’s French bread, you’ll love this bread. I don’t think it is Leidenheimer’s, the texture is different and possibly even better. I believe it is a local bakery. Combine that with great fresh Gulf oysters, shrimp, crabs & catfish, hot sausage & sloppy roast beef and you have Real South Louisiana Po Boy. The lettuce is shredded, the tomatoes are tasty and the neighborhood is Audubon. The old Quality Grocery is gone, where I personally used to cut meat & serve from the show case, and Robert is now a Blvd as opposed to a RD, but the flava of neighborhood style still lives in this small little shop. If you haven’t been there ax’ em ta wrap ya one of dem’ po boys in dat white paper Da’lin, and grab ya’self a Barq’s in dat bottle. You’ll be glad you crossed the neutral ground for it…
