Slidell, LA
This is where I live and work at times. I moved here 2 years ago from Baton Rouge. I truly love the slower pace of Slidell no traffic from hell, definitely lower crime rate, a great place to raise kids. There are so many treasures that are hidden. From small boutiques locally owned, family ran restaurants like my fav. .Pecks and Christopher on Carey, and big city things like Wally World and Target all wrapped up in a small city world. I have yet to discover all Slidell has to offer but I must say I love this city and I look forward to discovering more ttreasures in the city in which I dwell.
