Target Stores

Black Friday and only three registers open. Sad little store. Employees are rude and angry.

Add me as yet another Unilocaler who, despite liking the place, believes that they should have more than three lanes open. Four God’s sakes, they have at least 14 lanes, yet during even their busiest times I have never seen them open more than five total.
Love the store. Hate the check out.

I’m going to have to agree wholeheartedly with my fellow Unilocaler Scott G. This particular Target always (and I do mean always) has only about three checkout lanes open at any given time. It’s pretty ridiculous since there are about 12 registers. I am not sure if they are trying to compete with the level of suck that you get at Walmart or what, but that’s just not cool, Slidell Target.
It’s also really uncomfortably hot in here. All the time. I really can’t stand to be hot and kind of expect to not be while I’m indoors at least but that’s not the case here. It’s hot in this bi*ch.
That being said, I do love Target in general. I love the brands and great quality merchandise they carry. You can find really good deals here as well if you check the end caps often and I love a deal. The bathrooms are always clean and the employees here are so nice.
But come on, Target. Open some more registers and crank up the AC. Please.

Was very disappointed with the customer service at this store. Took a friend’s daughter shopping, and the woman at the fitting room treated her like a thief. She was on an obviously personal phone call, and got very upset each time she was interrupted to check the items to try on. It got so bad we left our cart with close to $ 1,000 worth of clothes and reported her to the store manager, who wasn’t much help. We used to drive across town to shop there a lot. Haven’t been back since.

I love this Target. So much cleaner than some I’ve been to! The only reason I didn’t put five stars is because they could stand to open 1 – 2 more registers.

Because this target is so close to me I can go to it all the time, which I do. But it’s pathetic the selections they are lacking. Bathing suits? I’m not sure if everybody in slidell shops here for those but there are never enough sizes or you can’t find matching bottoms. Way to under stocked. The kids/​baby stuff has a perfect endless selection for girls clothes but if you have a son, you’re not going to find anything whatsoever! It’s like the clothes are all picked through and again never keep this section up to stock!

I would love to give this Target five stars, because it is a very calm shopping experience compared to the Walmart across the interstate, but they have a flaw. They never have more than three checkout lanes open. Sometimes you show up and only two registers are open. They have at least 10 or 12 (maybe more) registers built, so at most they use 30% of their capacity. They should just go to self checkout or something. Other than that, the workers are nice and it’s awesome that they carry groceries.
