Sumac Mart

While working in El Dorado has been an experience in itself, we r staying in Smackover to avoid getting robbed. The bad thing about Smackover is this gas station is the only place to eat with the exception of Pizza Pro. We have tried many things from this store from their fried chicken, fish, salads, hot wings, n breakfast items. The girls that take the orders n check u out r extremely RUDE. Good luck on receiving fast or friendly service. Some of the food is decent for gas station fare. Today, I have had it with this store! First they always say ten to fifteen minutes… I had to wait thirty. My hotel is across the street n I would appreciate them at least getting the correct wait time. after the normal hassle of checking out with these rude employees, I hurry back so Richard could eat before going to work. We had ordered a Hot Ham n Cheese, a Club, n a Chicken Strip sandwich. In my photos u can see the Hot Ham n Cheese had NO HAM. it was greasy toast with Mayo n cheese only. Once before it at least was on a bun n of course… it had Ham. I quickly opened my club n glanced to make sure it had Ham. it only appeared to have Bacon, cheese, lettuce, Mayo, n a tomato WITH A PRODUCE STICKER STILL STUCK TO THE SLICE OF TOMATO. I don’t know about y’all but this highly suggest to me the tomato had not been washed or this would have been removed! We rush back n Richard went in to confront the hamless situation. He returns to show me this small fatty piece of Ham underneath one of the pieces of bread. YUCK. between this n the sticker on my tomato… my stomach was turned! The cook had an excuse of FORGOT to put Ham on his Ham n cheese sandwich… I do believe There’s never been a better time go home this Easter weekend n haul some cooking equipment to our hotel n tell Sumac to kiss A$$. if u r ever unfortunate enough to land urself in Smackover or El Dorado… BYOF!!!
