Solid Pizza. We got them to go and both were on the cusp of undercooked. Great sauce and ingredients, and the crust is delicious. This place reminds me of the small family owned Italian places I grew up with in south florida. Its a little pricey for the pies, given the execution I’ve experienced. I will go back and give another shot though. Definitely the best in Smithfield, which isn’t saying a lot given its 6000 population, but its darn good pizza.

Had a pizza today and my wife had the calzone. The pizza was excellent with the mozzarella, fresh tomato and fresh oregano then topped with olive oil. This is the second time we’ve had lunch there and thoroughly enjoyed it. I don’t know if the mozzarella was fresh but I know it wasn’t that packaged stuff that is already shredded months ago. The wait staff was great too. Will stop there again on our trip to Smithfield.

In town working the outage at Surry nuclear power plant and always enjoy a good meal after a hard day’s work and this place won’t disappoint you. Everything was great thanks for the belly ache(I ate too much) !

Came for a quick dinner, the place had more customers than usual but we didn’t have to wait. Our waitress was very personable, I really enjoyed her. We got a small Italian salad, basic salad except they use black olives instead of kalamata, the house dressing is pretty good. The calamari was nice and crispy, marina was smooth instead of chunky which is better for dipping. We decided to try something new, so we ordered the sea scallop and artichoke pizza, it had bay scallops but that’s no big deal, I thought it was odd to put sea scallops on a pizza anyway. It was supposed to be spicy but it was quite mild, but that’s what crushed red pepper is for. I would definitely order the pizza again, it was very good.

This place is pretty overpriced. I took my kids here. For me and 2 kids(they ordered kids meals) it was 42 $ and then add tip = 50 $. We got garlic knots and they were pretty greasy. My daughter got spag & meatball, said it was good but meatball was spicy. Son got personal cheese pizza, pretty mediocre. The salad was really lame. Salad pack with some lunch meat, canned sliced olives and 2 grape tomatoes. I couldn’t even eat it. I ordered a pizza with mushrooms, tomatoes, ricotta & spinach. It was good except the spinach was of the frozen variety! How sad… In a farm town. It would’ve been divine with some real greens on it, fresh arugula? Missed the mark. Sorry Anna.

Get the pizza, if your looking for some type of upscale Italian dining experience you went to the wrong place. It’s a local pizza joint folks. Subs are OK, but to me the pizza is the way to go.

We recently moved to Smithfield and have been trying out a lot of the local restaurants. Anna’s seems to be the only Italian restaurant around. We decided to try it tonight. It was ok, but we could have, and should have made better pasta at home. The one thing I would recommend are the garlic knots. They were very good.

Haven’t eaten here in about 8yrs and the food is still so good. We ordered a pizza with pepperoni pineapple and onions and it was the best pizza we had in a while. We ordered a burger for my husband and he didn’t like it, he just ate the pizza.

Anna’s Ristorante is nice. It’s not a pretentious, high dollar Italian resturant but you can always rely on the food to be tasty and high quality. It has a homestyle atmosphere and the wait staff is very friendly. Always will to tell you their favorites, they want nothing more than to make you feel like you’re a geust in their house. The only bad experience I had was when their furnace was broken and the whole resturant was just over 55 degrees! That was a quick sub!

Never let down when I go to Anna’s for lunch or dinner. The staff is exceptionally nice and the food is different from other Italian restaurants… Makes you second guess taking a trip to Olive Garden! You can tell this place is the real deal Italian food!

Recently hosted a large group for a meetup event here. Everyone got something different(so many delicious choices!), and everything was amazingly good, from hoagies to pizzas to traditional Italian dishes. Our server was very friendly and promptly attended to our every need. Excellent wine selection. It was a little on the loud side, but the place was packed, so that’s to be expected. If you want real Italian food, come here and forget about that Olive Garden garbage!

Last night we had a wedding rehearsal dinner at Anna’s. The food was pretty good. We had options of baked ziti, chicken Parmesan, tortellini with a cream sauce. My kids loved the ziti! my wife and I really liked the tortellini, I’d order that again! The waitstaff was very courteous and provided good service! For dessert there was mini cheese cakes, cannoli and crème puffs. Those were decent. Overall it wasn’t the best Italian food I’ve ever had but I’d definitely go back, especially to try the pizza which looked amazing as we walked out!

Garlic knots were good. Caesar salad decent. Wouldn’t get chicken Francese. Very bland even though covered in spices. Missing lemon or caper kick. Decent prices. Should have gotten pizza.

Ask for vinegar and oil for the Italian sub! The Pizza: Blown away by the epic size of the super large pizza! It was good too! There were 16 slices, and each slice was probably at least 14 inches long, and 4 – 5 inches wide at the crust. It was super greasy and tasty. My family descended upon it and there wasn’t anything left. During the eating of this epic pizza, everyone kept saying stuff like, «This is good!,» and«MMM», and«This is the biggest pizza I’ve ever seen in my life.» The kicker is that it was about $ 35 after putting pepperoni on it. It’s not cheap. The Subs: I have always loved Anna’s Italian sub. It’s pretty simple: salami and I think bologna, and if not, maybe ham, and lettuce with Italian dressing, tomatoes, and that’s it. But it sure it is good. My sister asked for oil and vinegar after our subs were delivered and it came out in this neat bottle, and is house-made. My bro-in-law got the parmesan veal sub and it was good too, but I prefer my Italian. The Service: Just based on my recent experience, the service was fine. Our waitress took our orders without much of a wait, and kept us fully stocked on drinks, and didn’t disappear after leaving the check .

Definitely a fan. Came here on a Friday evening and we were lucky because we got seated right before the crowd hit. I say this because when we were leaving, people were waiting to be seated. My date ordered the chicken francese and I went with the ravioli. He graciously offered to let me taste the chicken. It was lemony and moist. Pretty good stuff. The raviolis were cheesy and delicious. The portions are pretty good and the entrees come with a salad. Not too crazy about their house dressing, so I’ll probably get ranch if I go again.

1st time there. Had pepperoni pizza. True Sicilian! Great crust with semi-sweet sauce. My only complaint was all the pepperoni was in the middle, none near the outer edge, but delicious nonetheless. Red & white checkered tablecloths with real china and cloth napkins. Nice cozy dining area. I only saw spaghetti & meatballs at a table nearby and it looked great, and a huge portion. Happy I had the opportunity to go, you should go too!
