First we waited 15 minutes to be seated and then found the restaurant practically empty. Our server forgot our drinks and when our food came it was cold. We paid $ 18 a plate for prime rib that was the most awful meat I’ve ever been served. The end cut I received was burnt so bad it wouldn’t even pass for jerky and everything else on the plate was cold. When we alerted the server she said she wondered about the meat but brought it to us anyway. She offered us a cookie as a comp… and said she was really sorry. They made NO attempt to make it right or bring us new food. Will not be coming bavk, greatly disappointed.

Getting in & finding somone to seat you was a bit of a hassle. Walking thru the front door, I guess was the back door? That is the only thing that would make me hesistate about going back. The food was pretty good. The menu items were exactly the kinds of things my husband & I would order. He was happy with his meatloaf meal & I got the prime rib. The prime rib was very flavorful & tender however very fatty. The mac n cheese was devine! I will def be going back

Philly cheesesteak was solid. Meat needed a bit of marination or seasoning but the toppings were perfect and made up for it. Crunchy bun and just enough grease to meet the standard. Fries were double fried like it’s supposed to be done. For a small town with mostly overpriced garbage, I’m happy that we have Jim’s Grill to break the spell. Much better than Beehive and about the same price.

Stopped at Jim’s Grill for lunch. We had the Prime Rib sandwich and it was great. They are only open for lunch and dinner on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. They have great food and it’s a fun place to eat. Lots of old antiques. If you get a chance give it a try.

I visited Jim’s Grill last weekend with friends and was immediately delighted by the creepy, humorous, borderline offensive Native American dummies situated above the hostess podium. The whole restaurant looks great; I never saw it before the renovation, but the taxidermy and portraits of John Wayne are right up my alley. Going by looks alone, Jim’s Grill totally won me over. If my food had been amazing, this would be my new favorite restaurant. Sadly, this was not the case. I ordered meatloaf on the recommendation of the waitress and it was dry and a little sad. The macaroni & cheese and mashed potatoes followed suit. My friend ordered steak medallions and said that they were really good, and another friend liked his burger. I’ll definitely return to Jim’s, if only to visit those spooky Indian dolls. Hopefully I’ll hit the jackpot with my next order!
