Signature Salon

I bought a groupon for a cut & blow dry and was able to make an early appointment for the next day quickly. The staff member on the phone was very polite and even called later to see if another appointment would be more convenient.
When I went in I was able to go right to the chair, no waiting time at all. I believe Marisa (I’m terrible with names) was my stylist and even at 8am she was pleasant and attentive. During the cut she frequently asked what I wanted, how I styled my hair, or if there was anything she could be to make the cut better. I’m terrible with expressing what I want my hair to look like, but I always have a clear visual in my head and she nailed it. It still looks and feels great even after sleeping on it for a night.
The only reason I didn’t give a 5^th star is because it is a small building and I wish they had more room to grow, but in due time. Hopefully with so many positive reviews they’ll be able to expand one day! I’ll definitely be coming back here.

Had a groupon so went for getting my ombré hair to overall color. The stylist listened me and took time to style. She colored my hair beautifully and I left salon with happy face. I was not happy with my ombré as my previous stylist didnt colored my bleached hair.

I used a living social coupon and was pleased from start to finish with my experience. I called to make an appointment and the staff was friendly and professional. I made an appt for this morning and was very pleased!
I saw Sarah who was friendly, polite and asked numerous times how I was enjoying the experience. It’s a small place and perhaps not the calmest/​quietest but I enjoy chatting with people in the salon so it didn’t bother me at all. I would have appreciated a cup of tea or coffee as I heard them ask someone else if they wanted one, but not a huge deal.
Tons of nail polishes– I had a manicure & pedicure during my experience. Sarah took her time and made sure to really layer it on so I expect that it will last a while. One thing I noticed was that she put the fast dry on and i think that also helps. The pedicure was relaxing although didn’t focus on the massage aspect for very long. However, over the years I have learned to appreciate polish staying on for long rather than a longer massage. Although the prices are a bit higher than I’m used to paying ($ 29 for pedicure and $ 18 for manicure) I would happily come back because they speak english, it was clean, and I had a great experience!

I was looking on Groupon for a new salon to try because my hairdresser left the salon I was going to and didn’t tell me. I always check the reviews on Unilocal before I make my decisions. I saw that Signature Salon had four hidden reviews that were good as well, so I gave a call to the salon.
Sonya, the owner, was really helpful over the phone. I wasn’t sure which Groupon I should buy, so she had me send her a picture of my hair so she could consult with me over the phone. She was very pleasant and made me feel that she wanted my business, and she even squeezed me in that very day!
I had full highlights and lowlights, along with deep condition, blowout and style. The price, even without the Groupon, was very affordable… which was comforting because I was hoping to find a regular salon.
Getting to the results… she did an awesome job, especially with the color! I couldn’t be happier with how natural the blonde turned out. I had a bit of a garish gold near my roots, from a friend touching up my roots a month ago, and she destroyed the evidence of that mishap! The cut and style were good as well. She even made me a cup of coffee and took almost half the time that other stylists have taken.
I’ll definitely return.

I used a Living Social Deal for a Mani/​Pedi and chose to upgrade to the gel manicure.
My manicurist was Sarah and she did a fantastic job!
Sarah started by rubbing my cuticles with a softener and then very carefully she trimmed my ragged cuticles. Then we discussed nail shape and she gently filed them. She applied the polish meticulously and my nails look so professional now.
The pedicure involved sloughing off the dead skin after my feet had soaked in warm water and then a very relaxing massage of my calves and feet. She trimmed my cuticles and then applied the polish with an expert hand.
Throughout Sarah checked on my comfort and we chatted for just the right amount of time. She understood that I was just soaking up the relaxation at the end with my eyes closed.
The salon is small but bright; and I have already booked a return visit and expect to rave about this service to all of my friends.

Love my hair when I leave the salon!
Next time I will splurge for a mani-​pedi too. After I saw what a great job they do with the gel polish I need to!
