Lakshmi Threading Salon

I recently moved to Hauppauge and am in search of an eyebrow threading salon. After reading all of the positive reviews I decided to give it a try.
Cons:
— Overpriced. I’m use to paying less in midtown Manhattan.
— Not friendly
— She did not listen to what I wanted. I explained it to her and she didn’t even acknowledge me.
— Poorly shaped.
Pros:
— No waiting. It was completely empty.
Needles to say I am still in search of a threading salon in the neighborhood.

Simply put, she is the BEST around! And to the rude reviewer below me about «the place was a shithole» not even close! To be honest though even if it was I would still go to her because she really is the best!

Perfect place in Smithtown, the owner not only knows the technique in eyebrow threading but also gives advice on growing it in a beautiful shape. Very quick and very attentive, A very clean and bright place, I have found the perfect place in smithtown.

I have been going to Lakshmi for a year and she always does an amazing job with my eyebrows every time, and it barely hurts. The threading salon is right on Main Street and is in a great location. Shazi is super friendly and is also a very talented make up artist. She really knows what she’s doing! I recommended Lakshmi to my mom and sister and they too have had a great experience! I am looking forward to my next visit!

This place is rundown and just gross! I went to this place based on the reviews and was floored by what a shithole this place was. They must have bought this salon when it was a nail place and just left all the nail stations in place. Place is dirty! And the women in there barely speak. You are running a business that is dime a dozen, be conversational! And pull out a mop once in a while. Will not be back!

I began coming to this salon a few months ago after trying to find someone who could do my eyebrows correctly. Shazia always gets my eyebrows done perfectly and I love the cooling gel she applies after. Shazia made me feel comfortable right from the beginning and I am now a regular customer. The salon is very clean, and she is very professional. I would highly recommend this salon!

I went here for the first time today and I am now a permanent customer. The place was easily accessible and there was parking in the front and back. It was so clean and the staff (mother and daughter) was very friendly. Being that this was my first time not only here but getting my eyebrows threaded I was a little nervous. Once I sat down they immediately made me feel comfortable. I can’t believe I waited so long to try it, my eyebrows have never looked better! They shaped them perfectly and put this gel on at the end which included a little 2-​minute massage. There’s a coupon out for new customers and your first visit is free. (Look for it in Entertainment Weekly or the pennysaver.) After your visit they give you a points card where after your 8^th visit you get your eyebrows done for free again. Can’t beat that!
