This is the best traditional deli in the area. Sandwiches are generous and the salads are always fresh and delicious. The staff are great, friendly and talented. Debbie, Tammy and Tom along with Annie and the crew have really kept Artie ’ s concepts true to him.

Best German Deli in town. Great place for a classic deli sandwich. A little on the pricey side and although they have an ATM(with fee), they don’t take credit cards. Constant flow of customers. Super nice and friendly.

Authentic German Deli. Potato salad, cole slaw, and yummy desserts line the counter. Fresh sandwiches you order by number and they have delightful coffee flavorings. Always greeted with a smile! The food items are good, the coffee is hot. I

I grew up a mile from this place in the 1980’s-1990’s. But now I live out of town and when I go back, I always stop here for a bacon/egg sandwich. Today may have been my best visit ever — in 30+ years. Super friendly guy at the counter, delish bacon/egg sandwich, coffee &4 homemade mini muffins cost me less than $ 6, which I was happy to pay for service with a smile & a homemade breakfast. PS — the guy knew everyone’s order who came in — you can’t beat that.

I walked in just in time. Here it is, 2 pm on a Saturday afternoon and there’s a line ten deep as I was leaving. made me feel good about stopping here. I decided to have a #3,roast beef(I had regular instead of Cajun), bacon, mozzarella, on a garlic roll. No use pushing my luck, it’s a long ride back to MA. It’s been 2 years since I’ve been in a real NY deli, bu I thought nine bucks for a sandwich(non hero) was on the pricey side. I will say that it was one fine sandwich. It was hot, it didn’t make a mess and it tasted great. Much better then anything I can get in MA, I would definitely stop back again, now that I am over my sticker shock.
