Mel’s is great for any meal. If you go in for breakfast have the Mudhole. Their salad bar is the best in the area. My favorite item is the chicken strips covered in gravy and cheese. The only complaint is that it takes a longer than I think it should to get your order sometime.

I ordered the catfish and I was thoroughly impressed. Catfish is an iffy dish because sometimes you go hungry due to ‘muddy’ tasting fish. My dinner was great and the salad bar was over the top! I am very glad i stopped by. This is a little gem
