We came here with high expectations after our experiences at other Wyndham resorts. Boy have we been disappointed. We reserved two units, traveling with our daughter and friend. We asked for units reasonably close together — CANTDOIT— Asked for a unit with a king bed — CANTDOIT— Asked for maintenance to fix a buzz that destroyed one night’s sleep. Took 12 hours to get someone out. We were supposed to receive a mid week«clean and tidy». DIDNOTHAPPEN. received a parking violation warning for parking in an area not marked as firelane and later saw the«load and unload only» sign mostly hidden by bushes. During our owner update it was suggested that we should buy points at this resort. I would never consider returning to this venue based on how we have been treated as guests. We are Wyndham owners and were told that we weren’t even put in Wyndham units. We were told that this is a very busy time and no other units were available, yet every night we see dozens of units that are dark, have no cars by them, appearing unoccupied.

Best place for family vacation for people with children. You send them to camp all day so you have tome off. ALSO there is so many pool sites, they will enjoy trying a different place every day.

A solid little ski spot. I am completely unaware of cost since I mooches off my friend’s parents who have a timeshare here. I gotta say if it’s a good deal, it’s totally worth it since it included lift tickets! The room itself is Vermont shabby. We stayed in a 2 bedroom with flat screens in every room and the beds were decent(1 King master with bathroom and 1 room with a queen and 2 singles). The kitchen was a bit shabby as were the bathrooms, but nothing outlandish. Definitely a Vermont ski condo, no luxuries here. There was a washer and dryer which is always a bonus and lots of light. Now that I’m thinking about it, it was a nice little spot. The hot tub/pool area(very kid friendly) happened to be right near our unit, not sure if there are more in the resort, but it was quite nice to be so close. No towels, so make sure to bring your own. The shuttle brings ya anywhere in the resort you need to go including the lifts and a nice little tavern right outside the resort«walls». They run regularly and you can always call and request one if you don’t happen to catch one on the run. The staff is so nice and friendly and everyone really wants you to have a good time, which is pretty easy to do. Overall, definitely a great time and perfect for a family or friends ski-trip. My one complaint? Charging me $ 10 a day for internet. Really? It was super strong though, so there’s that.

I am so thankful that my family decided to make a return trip to Smugglers’ Notch Resort for the winter season… the snow definitely adds the element of magic to the property. First, my daughters(10 and 12) signed up for snow school; the 10 year old tried skiing, and the 13 year old tried snowboarding. Neither daughter had ever done either sport before, and were a little nervous. Smuggs is very organized when it comes to the group lessons, and did a great job communicating about what the girls needed, and where they needed to be. The instructors were AMAZING with the girls! Matthew McCauley did such a great job that my 10 year old was skiing the learning hill all by herself after 2 hours. Michael(forgot his last name) was super patient and encouraging with my 13 year old as she struggled with learning. The resort is truly set up for wintertime family fun. I tried cross country skiing, my husband and girls did a snowshoeing and sugaring activity(which they all LOVED), and my husband and I LOVED the snowshoe dinner adventure! The Morse Mountain Grille has been redecorated since we were there last, and it looks great. The clean lines, and simple décor really showcase the true gem… the view up the mountain! Our week ended with watching a candle light«parade» down the mountain, and fireworks. Again, so thankful that we decided to give Smugglers’ Notch Resort another try. It was a family vacation that provided many wonderful memories!

We spent 5 days in the Owls three bedroom presidential suite and it was amazing! Tons of room, beautiful views, nice fireplace and the shuttle buses arrive within minutes to take you wherever you’d like to go(dinner, slopes, pool, fun zone, etc)! Can’t say enough good things about our stay! If only the weather would have been about 10 – 15 degrees warmer it would have been perfect!

This place is incredibly BEAUTIFUL! It was a great getaway for my family and I. I’m 24 and want to be adventurous, so I thought… why the hell Vermont? But honestly, I LOVED everything about Vermont, moreso than other NE states. It was quite a ride to get here from the airport, but I loooooooved this place. I’m pretty sure it would have been awesome in the Winter time. I loved the little farmer’s market in the front. The people are really, really nice! Everything was really fresh and inexpensive.(I live in LA where everything is an arm and a leg at a farmer’s market.) We were able to get everything we needed for the week at the farmer’s market, so we didn’t have to drive to the grocery store. Our room was very cozy and homey. I loved the view! Even though it was only of the trees… you don’t get much greenery here in LA. It was breathtaking.

Came at the end of May and we were told we were here«between the dead and busy time», which translated as there has been absolutely nothing to do at the resort. The biggest highlight of our on-site activities was the potential opening of the water slide today, which apparently happened before we got there and then the chemical levels were off and it was closed. That being said, the pool itself was gross, with random insects floating around in it and a unsettling film on the top of the pool… disconcerting since there were 4 guards working and not one of them seemed even slightly motivated to skim the nastiness off of the pool surface. The rooms themselves were very nice, which is the only reason I could give this place even 2 stars since nothing else was available to us really but a room. We stayed in the Tamaracks, which we were told the facilities were just finished in October. The condo is spacious with a nice porch and a Jacuzzi in the master bedroom. The fireplace was also a nice touch. Wi-Fi was an additional $ 30 cost for the week, but thank God for it since the resort offered NOTHING in terms of entertainment, aside from pesty sales calls to us, trying to sell us more points. We were all sick so the incessant ringing of the phone got old quickly and we finally had to flat out ask them to leave us alone for the duration of our trip. Aside from the disappointing experience at the Wyndham, the areas around this«resort» were nice and we enjoyed all of our experiences off-site.

Great place to Getaway and Relax for Family or Romantic Vacations, the employees are EXTRA friendly and caring. We stayed for a week on April 2014 and they was plenty of things to see and do in the Resort or Outside within minutes of a driving distance. The Supermarkets are a bit far tho, about 16 – 20 miles away from the resort but it’s a beautiful scenery during the drive we did it twice during that week. The rooms are very nice and spacious pictures are included. We loved our stayed hope you do too.
