Thanks to the Unilocal community, I drove close to an hour to experience authentic Haitian cuisine and C’est Si Bön did not disappoint. As a Haitian –American, I have grown up all my life eating authentic Haitian food, but I must say thier food was much better than what I was accustomed to. The red snapper, stew chicken and griot is absolutely amazing.

The food is okay if you don’t like lots of spices. The people are very nice. I had the griot and it wasn’t the best, the pickaliz(Haitian hot sauce for griot) was not spicy, which I thought was odd and the meat portion is very small. My husband had the the legume which was better than the griot. But I coming from Miami so my judgement goes far. I don’t think I will be going back anytime soon.

I finally found a Haitian restaurant in GA! The food is so good and the lady that’s helps us was very nice! This place is perfect for when I don’t feel like cooking or need to give my son his griot fix. Lol High 5

This is the place to go for true, authentic Haitian food! As a Haitian woman, I’ve had my fair share of it and this place has it. Their griot(marinated pork) and fried plantains were amazing — cooked to perfection and fried fresh to order. They have pretty good portion sizes and the staff is friendly. It’s small inside, but there’s a good amount of seating if you want to dine in. I will definitely be back later in the week. Can’t wait to try their other items!

My future son-in-law has been in the US for 2 weeks and was missing food from home. We are in Atlanta for the weekend and decided to see if their was a Haitian restaurant. We are very thankful we did! We had stewed chicken with rice and bean sauce. It was just like from Haiti! Delicious! And they have Cola Couronne!

The food was pretty good, happy I found a Haitian restaurant here inGeorgia. The patties were delicious really enjoyed those. The rice wasn’t exceptionally that good but decent. I had the fried turkey which was pretty good. The legume was really good. The only thing I didn’t like was the meat portion they give which was not a lot, but they give you a lot of rice lol I couldn’t finish it all. I mean I would visit again just because it reminds me of back home.

Whenever I am in the area I stop by to get my Haitian food fix. Its location is perfect. I love the fresh hot patties. They are the best when they first come out the oven. The Legume is on point!!! Try it

Let me tell you how much I am here for this place… I just discovered it yesterday during lunch and I’m about to go back today for dinner. It’s not the prettiest sight and it took me 3 tries to find it, but it was so worth it. The name says it all. It really is delicious. I had the oxtails, rice & plantains… seasoned to perfection. Service was great. I walked into a lady(who I’m assuming is the owner) that greeted me with a hug. They don’t have everything listed on the menu just yet — but they will be installing a buffet area in about a month that is going to be the reason I need to hit the gym! This is just close enough to my job in Vinings for me to become the regular that I’m about to be! Recommend: Oxtails, Rice & Plantains.(Took about 20 minutes for me to receive — I recommend calling ahead) I’ll report back as I try more!

A little hole in the wall. When I walked in there was a petite Haitian lady that I struck up good conversation with practicing my Creole lol. The food was fast and efficient and a big portion for a little price. I ordered griot with a patty in total came up to about $ 10! I will definitely be back.

This place was a very welcome surprise. If you’re looking for delicious, fresh Haitian food, and courteous service at a reasonable price(for the portions), I would recommend this restaurant. Anyone who knows Haitian food knows that it’s not fast food, because it’s made to order(20 – 30 min wait is totally normal). So don’t wait until you’re starving to order and you’ll be fine.

Located a while away off of Windy Hill, this tiny little restaurant offers a rather odd experience mixed with some delicious food. After parking in what seems like a tragedy of a parking lot, I walked myself into this quiet Caribbean restaurant. I was greeted by a gentlemen behind the counter and all of his attention was on me. Well, it had to be, I was the only customer there during this lunch rush. Saddened by the lack of liveliness in the room, I quickly ordered and sat myself down at one of the cheap looking tables. I began to feel obligated to chit chat with the server/cashier since it felt like we were the only ones with a heartbeat within a five mile radius. Awkward, but pleasantly nice fellow. Oxtail was the name of the game this time and I was excited to try this Haitian delicacy. This dish requires hours and hours of cooking in order to be eaten correctly, meaning it can be rubber-tough if not made with care and time. I bit into this nice morsel of cow meat and fat. The savory red sauce complimented the style of this dish well and the meat was delicious. It wasn’t fall off of the bone, but soft enough to not require the jaws of life. On the side were rice and beans, which complimented the meal well enough, though I longed for something more. I can see the strengths of this restaurant very well, and it hides some of the weaknesses, but that’s what I didn’t expect of this place. I expected something more of the surroundings and desired a cultured filled room that grants a nice aura of welcome. The food is wonderful, but leaves me disappointed in the place I ate it at.
