Flex Gym

Great no-​nonsense gym. The equipment is well kept up, the hours are good, it’s no pressure and the owners are VERY nice. Great place if you want to get a solid workout but aren’t looking for frills or a load of trendy classes.

The owners of this business lied to induce my wife to join up. They told her about all these fitness classes they would offer. They never did offer them – only a «boot camp» class three times a week. When we requested them to release us from our contract for lying, they did not. When we filed with the BBB, they lied to them and said that they did in fact offer classes (which they did not). And of course, since then they have been nothing but rude to me when I do go in. I can’t stand going there now.
Additionally, their equipment stinks. For the longest time they did not have a usable elliptical (they did get 2 decent ones in finally).
I would definitely NOT recommend this gym. Your money is much better spent elsewhere – maybe the Y or the Town Center. I CAN’T WAIT for my contract to be up so I can be free to go to a gym with friendly employees, decent equipment and folks that deliver what they say they will.
