I love Nyema! Every time I come the service is quick and I always love my hair, I started coming here in July and I’ve been coming back faithfully ever since. Nyema is a hair guru, she is well educated about the hair shaft and everything that deals with general and specific knowledge concerning hair care! She definitely loves what she does and it’s evident in her work! She never keeps you waiting and she’s always professional. Book her on styleseat and you WONT be disappointed!

I would NOT recommend getting the Brazilian keratin treatment here. My hair started falling out within a week of this treatment (see below).
I honestly do not like leaving a bad review (even if I’ve received bad service), however, this is one of those situations where if I can prevent someone from having the same experience as I did I will. About 2 months ago I received the brazilian keratin treatment. The service was fast and Nyema was very friendly. My hair initially was smooth and pretty.
Fast forward to 3 days after washing the treatment out I noticed that a section of my hair was breaking out. I’m not talking about split ends either, I am talking about 10 inches of my shoulder length hair in one section falling out in my hands leaving me with a chunk of 3 inches of hair on one side. I believe the keratin in my hair was over-​processed and too much heat was added in that one section by the hair dresser (I had no previous chemicals in my hair). I called to ask for advice and was told to come in for a deep conditioner every week for which I would have to pay for. I passed the suggestion and just accepted that it was completely damaged (the hair in that section was stringy, would not revert, and would break off in long strands a couple of days after the treatment) and that I will just nurse my hair until the damage grew out.
A couple of months later in July (I had the treatment in May), I noticed that I had a bald spot and thinning hair. Soon after that I noticed that my hair had been falling out by the root in clumps. I once had a head full of thick hair and now I am scrambling to figure out how to keep what is left on my head. I know it was the keratin treatment that did this because I am very healthy, I take hair vitamins, use natural oils, and have not had any recent stress that would cause that. I also found a forum online with women who experienced substantial hair loss 2 months after the Brazilian keratin treatment (from different stylist).
I really regret getting this treatment done. I hope my hair stops falling out by the root. I have completely stopped wearing my hair out because I am embarrassed by my thin hair and I cannot run a comb through my hair with out having a handful come out in each section. I do not recommend getting the Brazilian keratin treatment done here.

Great and fast service! I got a keratin straightening treatment and it was a wonderful experience. I got there at noon and was done by 1:15pm. I have medium length hair and it looks great. I can’t wait to hit the beach in a few weeks with no frizz!
