Just ordered take out here. They are very rude and unappreciative to their customers. The food was worse then frozen Chinese food. No taste or seasoning with one entrée and the other entrée we had was seasoned too much it was very salty and made me feel very bloated and sick. And too add insult to injury they wanted to charge me extra 50 cents for an extra bag of fried wontons for my soup, basically 50 cents for extra crackers. They str over priced for what you get. Save a trip and don’t go there there are plenty of other Chinese food places in the area.

The food is poor and they have really bad customer service. We ordered wings and fries rice and got four pieces of a wing for $ 6 that’s just robbery!

The order I got wasn’t nothing to get excited about. It was lunch special but much small portions than other chinese restaurants. Basically, I’ve had better and most likely will not return.

Probably should find another Chinese restaurant in Smyrna. Fried rice here is plain, chicken is hard; everything is pretty much flavorless. Skip it. Maybe even just get some fast food.

Quick and easy. The food there is very subpar, no delivery and their customer service is horrifying. I have tried tonight now for the fourth time and each time I was either given the wrong food or was treated with no respect as a customer. I will try no more.

I came here today at 8:15 pm and ordered the lemon chicken wings with fried rice. The chicken was ok, but the fried rice is horrible. Rice that is a day to three days old is ok to serve but this place will serve you rice that is possibly 5 days old and try to mask it with lots of soy sauce. You can tell by the smell of the spoiled rice. Spoiled rice has a distinct odor. To find out just leave cooked rice at room temperature for more than 5 days. And eating it will give you a tummy ache. So avoid ordering the fried rice here after dinner time. I would have given them 1 star but the last time I was here I ordered the Singapore noodles and it was good and fresh. So I’m giving them 2 stars.

This place just isn’t very good. Had the chicken lo mein and was very disappointed. Little to no flavor and they used what could only have been leftover sweet and sour fried chicken in the lo mein. Ordered a large egg drop soup, again; almost no flavor at all. I will not be back, Great Wall is way better.

Very slow. Their small child was sitting at a table watching a show on a phone at full volume. Food was mushy and bland. No steamed rice, only fried rice. Abysmal at best.

No. 1 China is under new management and you can certainly see the difference. The staff is really nice, very polite and worked really fast to get my order out. I don’t know if its a good thing or a bad thing but my order was ready within 10 minutes :) :) :) I ordered the braised chicken wings and fried rice combo. It was prepared well, the sauce was thick, sweet and tangy and the rice was good. I don’t know why I was expecting veggies to come with my meals, but I’m alway’s shocked not to see them. This spot is great for a quick bite. The restaurant is located in a Krogers shopping center off South Cobb Drive & Concord Road, it’s located next door to a nail shop. Just look for the Krogers.

you have to properly set your expectations when you’re doing take out. This place does it pretty well. The flavors etc are all very good. I have been back 3 times and am pleased. The only reason I’m giving them 3 stars instead of 5 is for the portions of meat or seafood if you order something that has a combination of veggies/meat or seafood. They skimp on the meat/seafood pretty severely compared to most places. You’re definitely left feeling that you paid a bit too much for mostly vegetables.

Unfreakinbelievable. On a humbug, decided to check out this strip mall Chinese spot. I figured that it’s worth a shot… what, with the close proximity to the hotel, good reviews & all. Opted for the Szechuan chicken with fried rice, and an order of crab rangoon. Admittedly, I had a little bit of sticker shock when my order totaled just under $ 14. HAS to be good, right? Here’s hoping… The crab rangoon are store bought… should’ve said fuck it when I saw them dipping into the large bag of pre-frozen product and dropping them into the fryer. The Szechuan chicken was decent, hence the 2 stars. Loaded with veg… corn, squash, peppers, oniins, carrots… good amount of chicken. The fried rice had to be seriously doctored up… soy sauce, hot pepper sauce, and several spoonfuls of whatever sauce was in my Szechuan chicken. Those store bought crab rangoon though? Petite, bitter, and they’re $ 4.55 per order. At this price point, there have to be better options…

***3.3 stars*** Today, I had My first meal at #1 China. I phoned in My order for the orange chicken lunch special with fried rice and egg drop soup. My order was waiting on Me when I arrived. The employee’s didn’t seem overly friendly, but they were prompt. The restaurant is clean and brand new. It’s designed simply like a take-out place is to be, and has 5 tables for those who prefer to dine-in. By the register, you may help yourself to a variety of to-go sauces including chili pepper sauce(the little containers tend to leak, fyi), eating utensils including chop sticks, tasty imported Asian candy, and fortune cookies. My car filled with a delicious aroma that made Me eager to get home and chow! First, I sampled the fried rice. I rate it flavorful and«Very Good» even as a stand-alone item. It is easily the best fried rice to be had within 5 miles. The ingredients seemed very fresh, and it was not dry, sticky nor oily. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a quart of it based on My experience. Next, I sampled the egg drop soup. It certainly wasn’t the thickest nor the best I’ve had locally but it wasn’t at all disagreeable. Overall, it was pretty run of the mill in terms of quality, taste, and quantity. Next time I will order the Hot & Sour soup. Orange chicken is prepared much like General Tso’s or Sesame Chicken typically is(for those of us familiar with Chinese cuisine). Small chunks of chicken are battered, fried, and soaking in a sweet brown, orange-flavored sauce. A few pieces of broccoli were also included. The sauce was excellent, very tasty, and I discovered bits of orange pulp in it as well. For the most part, the chicken was tender, however, there were about 4 small chunks that were way too hard to be edible. I would order this dish again based on its flavor alone, but I hope that rock-hard bits wont be an issue again. However, I think I’ll opt for a non-fried dish to be safe. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — 2nd Visit: Phoned in an order for Mongolian Beef lunch combination with hot and sour soup. I requested«extra heavy sauce, a lot of sauce» on it. Service was again, prompt — and not overtly friendly. First, I sampled the hot and sour soup, hoping it would be better than their egg drop soup. It certainly was! Though it too was on the thin and watery side, it tasted very good and benefited from an additional dash of their red pepper sauce(available at the cashiers counter) and salt. The fried rice was good this time around too. I’ve no complaints about the Mongolian Beef except that it seemed My request for extra heavy sauce was exempted. The balance of scallions, onions and beef was ideal, though some may consider the dish heavy with onions. The sauce(though scarce in my sauce-adoring opinion) was so delicious but tasted identical to other Chinese restaurants’ versions. The beef was tender, well marinated and the onions were so infused with the sweet flavor of the brown sauce they were practically caramelized. I will definitely order one of their yummy Mongolian dishes again! If you happen to be in the area, I recommend trying this restaurant. They are available for take out or casual dine-in. _____________________________________________________________ 3rd Visit: ***3.7 stars*** (Improving) Today I ordered 2 lunch combination meals. Chicken in Garlic Sauce for Me. Curry Beef for a relative, but I was able to sample the dish. We both ordered the Hot & Sour soup since it out-ranks their eggdrop. The service today was friendly and courteous, served up with a smile. \My order was waiting for Me as-per usual. The cashier had no difficulty splitting the check for Me. The restaurant was busier today than I’ve ever seen it. Word must be getting out about this new restaurant. There were a few diners sitting down, and a number of people passed Me out the door with their orders in hand. Curry beef was very fragrant and the beef was tender, as were the onions that accompanied this dish. The curry flavor is not as overwhelming as it is in Indian curry dishes. The spiciness was also subtle. I enjoyed their Mongolian Beef more. Chicken in garlic sauce differed from the versions I’ve tried at other local Chinese restaurants. I had asked for«extra heavy sauce» and My request was honored this time, they even poured a bit on My rice. The sauce was mild but savory, it didn’t pack the punch I’ve grown accustomed to from other places with this dish. The vegetables were very fresh and crisp and included zucchini(first time I’ve seem this veggie in this dish), carrot, onion, broccoli, baby corn. and snow pea pods. I loved the variety! I would order this dish again.
