Real Subs Cafe

Stopped by Real Subs to get my husband and I some lunch today and we really enjoyed this place. Very clean and the service was great! We tried the Spicy Turkey on a wheat roll and the Ham and Turkey on the pretzel roll. Both fresh and yummy! Next time we go I want to try the spinach wrap that they were out of and try the drinks and cookies.

LOVE this place. My new favorite place for lunch. The service is excellent everything is fresh and I love that they cater to most people dietary restrictions without making you FEEL restricted. The sandwiches are really good and affordable and i love the detox bar… i normally don’t drink soda but it looked like theirs was organic and they had some really interesting flavors.

Fantastic sandwich shop. Not just «subs» … real food. Wholesome ingredients that don’t taste like granola. Full of flavor and feels chef-​driven. Will return over and over, as this is an amazing option for a QSR … better than Atlanta Bread Co and Panera.

Got the Real Deal sub on chibatta, it’s like a club, less bacon. Everything’s organic and high quality, it’s noticeable throughout.
A cleaner, fresher tasting sub than you would get at just about any chain. Not light on taste either. The ciabatta bread was on point, not too thick and just the right amount of chewy. The sub is pretty large and most people will only eat half.

Food is good but for the quantity of meat/​cheese in a sandwich it’s ridiculously bad. I have no problem paying 10 bucks for a 8 inch sandwich if it is properly filled. I completely understand everything is organic but I still don’t think that justifies the price tag.
The juice and water selections are good.
Overall, I have trouble buying into this product with the price point.

Real Subs is a sandwich/​salad spot that opened in the new shopping center by Sprouts on Cumberland pkwy.
When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the very friendly staff and they were happy to explain the entire menu to us. I was very impressed that they focused on Non GMO, organic and responsibly sourced ingredients in all of their food, this is very important to me and I am very happy to see it has found its way into more chain restaurants.
My BF and I ordered sandwiches and they were really good. The experience was similar to a high class subway, saying this because you watch the sandwiches being made and everything is very fresh, the ingredients are much nicer than a subway though.
The price came out to less than $ 15 for both of us, and that’s completely fair considering the high quality of the food, good food costs more than cheap fast food, pretty simple.
I’m eager to try everything else on the menu and I can see us being regulars.

A HUGE step up from the basic «sub» shop. Great ingredients and I love that they have gluten-​free options. I do wish they used collard wraps or lettuce wraps to take my sandwich totally guilt-​free, but I don’t mind a wrap now and again. Love the RO water and the detox bar. Great place for a quick lunch!

I had my favorite sub, an Italian trio with the basil pesto and truffle mayo. These guys are the real deal best subs I’ve had in Atlanta. Even the organic sodas were amazing. Best of all was the prices and service. Super friendly staff and their recommendations for the sandwich were spot on! I will be making this place my lunch stop anytime I’m in the area. Make sure that you step around the counter and look at their specialty sandwiches in addition to their build your own sub options.

Just paid $ 8 for a veggie salad that has lettuce, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. Disappointed in the portions and selection offered. If you are going to have salads on the menu, there should be more options of what to add to them. Service is good but, can pay this for a salad and get much more for what I pay for.

So I think most Unilocalers take themselves too seriously and have no clue what they’re talking about (like the guy complaining about the prices in an ORGANIC sub shop, claiming you can get «heathy subs anywhere») It takes a lot for me to actually log in and leave a review, the last time I did was 2011. That shows you how impressed I was with Real Subs.

** Has anyone ever heard of Real Subs? If you haven’t you need to check them out! They just opened the pilot store in Smyrna Georgia. Since going vegetarian and gluten free I have been craving good sandwiches. Real subs is almost 100% organic and local when available, everything else is all natural. They have organic sodas on tap and a fluoride-​free reverse osmosis water detox bar. When I told them I was gluten free they cleared/​wiped down the line, switched bread boards and washed their hands. The food was absolutely delicious! Everyone was super knowledgable and really seemed to care about organic food and dietary restrictions. They were also really cheerful and friendly. I work in the service industry and I doubt I’m half as cheerful as they were. The best part is they serve real Bulletproof coffee! If you don’t know what Bulletproof coffee is check it out, it’s delicious and nutritious and they make it the right way at Real Subs. Like I mentioned this is the pilot store so we have to support businesses like this if we want more of them in our communities! So check them out and leave a review! **
Anyone complaining about prices or «not being able to find a soda they liked» does not understand the concept and importance of organic food. Sorry they don’t have Doritos and code red Mountain Dew. If you actually care about not poisoning your body then check out Real Subs. This place is a blessing.

Great staff, super friendly, and knowledgable about the food. I got the Italian in a wrap, absolutely wonderful. Loved this place and will be coming back.

It’s rare to find a place where the quality of the food matches the quality of service. Newly opened, the owner was excited to tell anyone who would listen more about the quality and selection process of all the products. You could tell their was an amazing amount of detail put into every decision, right down to the reverse osmosis water.
It’s likely one of the cleanest (in terms of food quality) places you can find something to eat and the taste reflects that. The bread is fresh and is the perfect counterpart to the selection of meats and cheeses. While I’m not GF, there were plenty of great options for those who are and they paid special attention to those with allergies using separate cutting boards.
Support local and get a great meal while you do it!

Another new Smyrna restaurant, and I’m SO glad they’re here! Ate here for lunch today after driving by hoping they were open. The interior is decorated very nicely, but I can imagine it could get quite crowded at lunch time.
I haven’t eaten Subway in years due to the poor quality of food that they serve, so I’m thrilled to have a sub shop in town!
I ordered the spicy turkey on a spinach wrap, and it was very good. The Sriracha mayo was the perfect touch to the wrap. They don’t have a huge selection of chips, but all of them are free of GMOs and made with coconut oil. I had the barbecue flavor, and they were also very fresh tasting. My husband had the Italian sandwich, and he said it was also very good.
I wish I could just taste all the drink choices they have! I believe another Unilocaler posted their drink assortment, so I didn’t capture it. So many fresh drinks! Don’t go and expect to get a Coke — which is great for me because I haven’t had a soft drink in years!
For the person complaining about price, I don’t believe you buy non GMO, organic products because the prices here are very reasonable to provide such fresh ingredients. This isn’t Subway! You should be questioning why other places can sell food so cheap. There are many more things I want to try on the menu (and drinks), so we’ll definitely be back!

Wow this place is amazing! The food is fresh, organic and all tastes amazing! The restaurant itself was super clean! The manager came out to talk to us upon our arrival and everyone that worked there was very friendly! Could not recommend this place more! I got the turkey club wrap toasted with the truffle mayo and it’s delicious! Best sandwich shop in town!

Usually I just use Unilocal from time to time to find good places to eat, but my lunch at Real Subs was so damn good that I had to give a review.
I got the veggie wrap on a spinach tortilla (and added the truffle mayo per suggestion of a very friendly and helpful employee). It was easily the best veggie wrap I’ve ever had.
They use organic ingredients, and I fully believe it makes a noticeable difference. Will definitely be coming back.

Wow!!! Finally a sub, wrap, and salad fast-​serve restaurant that offers fresh, organic and delicious food. My wife and I have been back three times already and we’re telling everyone we know about this gem in Smyrna!
The pretzel hoagie/​grass fed roast beef and the «Italiano» on ciabatta bread are awesome! This is our new favorite restaurant and we feel good about eating here! Cudo’s to this great new concept restaurant!!!

This place is new and awesome. Ten steps ahead of Subway, could beat Panera. Placement next to Sprouts is a good idea. The healthy type would be in the area.
I chose the Chicken salad wrap on spinach tortilla. Great choice. I’m not a fan of onions so they were diced very fine which I appreciate.
Air Force veteran owned. Friendly service. Everyone looks professional. The little things mattered to me most. Clean bathrooms, touch-​free hand sanitizer soon as you walk in.
Price point is $ 8 – 12. Not bad for what they offer.

The café opened on Wednesday and I was there opening day. Went again the next day the food was so good.
Had the Italiano on wheat the first day and the Club on ciabatta the second. Both were amazing. Organic chips are great too, the purple ones are my favorite. The «detox bar» is really cool, love the variety. Favorites so far are the apple-​cinnamon and the sunburst green tea.
Since it’s on the way home from my gym it’s going to be a place I visit on a very regular basis. Staff is upbeat and friendly. The food and atmosphere are great. While what I eat doesn’t have to be organic, the concept is great and the food is awesome.
You’ll be impressed and you’ll make this one of your go-​to places for healthy fast food!

What a great new addition to Smyrna! Finally a healthy alternative to most fast food options in the area.
Located next to Sprouts, this restaurant is in the perfect location for those who want a healthy meal on the go. With a clean and bright look inside, myself and my partner were greeted by an excited staff on day one of operation. (They really made the experience, walking us thorough all the menu options)
Subs are made to order, or you can choose from a selection of what would seem like traditional sub menu, however you will find that they use premium meats and «fix’ns» made on site. (The list of sauces was amazing!
I recommend the The Italian sub on pretzel and ciabatta bread as the locally sourced bread was perfectly crafted and paired well with the sandwich.
We will be back to try another selection off the menu and work our way through all the different options on the «detox bar»! (Try the sunburst green tea)
