NEVERAGAIN… I use to love coming to this Ruby Tuesday but things have changed a little. First off the salad bar has changed, it’s alot smaller and if you want the salad bar with your dinner that’s an extra $ 3.99. The table we were seated at was next to friends of the staff and they were loud. Never before have I seen where staff members could spend time with their friends eating at their off their plates etc, rather than waiting on their customers or doing something in the restuarant. I ordered one of the waitresses suggestions… it was lousy. I forgot what it was called but it was the tilapia with shrimp. The shrimp was overcooked and like rubber, the baked potato was not cooked but somehow the skin was burnt. My friend had the petite steak and was it ever petite. It seems the portions have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up. All and all it was not the usual pleasurable experience that I had at a Ruby Tuesday. Maybe it’s just this location but NEVERAGAIN.

I don’t usually write bad reviews but am literally shocked right now. We ordered two salad bars, tea, water, milk for the baby and a plate of fries. Our waitress literally never came back to the table. I even went inside and asked for her, they said they would send her our way, she never showed back up. Finally we went to the front and asked for our check and when she brought it out I had to tell her that she never brought us the drinks(the fries were never even ordered). She went to the manager and asked him to remove the drinks because we never received them and he didn’t even ask her why or turn around and ask me about the service. This should have been an easy tip for her. I never leave less than 20% and certainly have never left a place without tipping at all. There were literally, maybe, two or three other tables. No excuses for this type of service. I hope she was just having a bad day.

Service was inattentive. Steak had to be leftover or had been kept in a warmer. It was ordered medium-well and came out well done. The steak wasn’t hot enough to melt the butter. The mashed potatoes side was left off the plate completely. The two tables in front of us were dirty from previous patrons when we were sat, and stayed that way throughout our meal. For the amount charged for these entrees, the experience should have been better.

Service was mediocre, meals didn’t come out together, didn’t even get the entire meal at the same time — food was like warm — no biscuits. Definitely not a good experience…

This review is long overdue! I ordered the Smokehouse burger with fries. I prefer my burgers to be made medium/well done… somewhere in between there. It was cooked just like that. The fries were… fries. I’m so sick of fries, I probably should have gotten some onion rings, instead. The burger was very good, messy and good. I ordered the Apple Crumble Flatbread, too. It was either really good or I was in dire need of sweets. I had to make myself package up this dessert to-go, otherwise I would have really been a fatty walking outta there. All in all, this was a decent meal. And even better, it was freeeee.

Worst visit, not coming back. Poor seating decision. Had to change tables twice. Waitress was non existent. Took her 15min to take the drink order and did not ask if we were ready to order the food. Salad bar was awful wilted spinach, old mushrooms etc).

Wonderful salad bar. Great burgers and Sandra is the best as a waitress. I never thought I would Ike this place, but I love it and I am pretty picky.

After being disappointed on Sunday evening, I returned with my sister and her husband Martin to get another opinion. Though we were attended to by Heather, another good waitress, I was disappointed again. This time it was my sirloin steak. Two bites into it, I hit gristle, gristle, and more gristle; it was a crappy piece of meat. Being I was hungry, I chewed and chewed, hoping I’d find some meat, while enjoying my salad-bar-plate and this time, eating more then one biscuit(which were better than three-nights-ago), though still not as good as remembered(Martin agreed, but Tiffanie didn’t eat because she doesn’t care for RT anyway). David the manager was very polite and came by to ask about our meal. Aware of my gristle, he removed the steak cost so I just had to pay for the salad. Martin was happy with what he was served(Pork chop) and, since there seems to be good peeps working there(Rachel, Heather, and David), I’m upgrading my review. Still, as the saying goes“Something’sNotRightInDenmark” since Three Stars is Just«OK»; and I expected — and used to receive — Better.

Wow, where do I begin. This restaurant is filthy. I mean FILTHY. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like, but the dining area and ladies room were disgusting. The butter that came with my baked potato had clearly been scrapped from another plate and reused on mine. Despite us having no bead at our table it had all kinds of breadcrumbs embedded in it. The chicken was well cooked and tasty, but it had all kinds of fat and gristle attached to it from not being trimmed. It looked so unappealing I could only eat a few bites. My husband ordered a steak medium and it came out raw. They re-fired it, but it then came out well done. At that point I think he was happy it was well done since the chances of food poisoning were lessened. I will say that the service was fantastic. Management needs to set the bar much higher than they are.

The wait staff doesn’t know how to help each other out. Don’t go when this place is busy or you’ll wait. They also don’t know how to fry shrimp. To high heat resulted in over-cooked breading and undercooked shrimp. My husband ended up sick from it. We were ignored and when finally we asked for the check to just get out of there, the waitress said«You’re mad eh?» and giggled like it was funny that she got us upset. We used to go almost weekly as just a place to have someone else cook. As the food is okay and generally quick to serve, but lately things have been going downhill. We’ll do what we did last time. wait 6 months for the Turn over and try again.

It has been a while since I’ve eaten at a Ruby Tuesday. I worked at one as a cook about fifteen years ago when the steaks would come frozen and vacuum sealed in bulk. I thought that maybe the company had turned over a new leaf since seeing their new commercials. Promising to offer fresher fare. My beverage was a strawberry lemonade. Warning: If you’re diabetic… STAYAWAYFROMTHISBEVERAGE! It was far too sweet… Even for someone like myself who has a sweet tooth. Although our meals were okay, the attentiveness of our server(Whitney) was not very good. We received biscuits that were under cooked. The replacements weren’t much better. When we told her about the brown lettuce on the salad bar, she said she would tell someone. As we were leaving, we noticed that no one had been told about the brown lettuce. Because it was still brown. We spoke to a manager but were shocked when we were not offered a stipend off of our check or a coupon of some sort to get us to come back. Not to worry… They’ll never see me in there again!

What do you do when you date someone who likes super mediocre places for casual dinners? I’m always looking for something unique or at least better than what I make in my kitchen. It’s Ruby frikkin Tuesday… Jai calm down. Decent food, decent service and my steak was medium well correctly. I have not one complaint! I love that health options have been added to the menu and I enjoyed the spaghetti squash, even though everyone made fun of me calling it «crunchy water». It was great and it is something that I don’t make in my own kitchen so BOOM Ruby Tuesday won!

I love Ruby Tuesday, But the service here was pissed poor. I love the strawberry lemonade plus they had a happy hour only at the bar so that means my friends and i was getting wasted.

These are the times when the restaurant god’s drop a TGIF’ Friday’s on the north side of town! Ok I don’t want to go overboard but had a good time & experience at the Ruby Tuesday’s Smyrna location. The food is basically the same as any other Ruby Tuesday’s. I highly recommend their burger. They also have a supreme salad bar if you’re trying to keep it light and not be down with TeamItis. One tip for the bar is make sure you request a fresh batch of veggies no matter how cool the greens look sitting upon that ice. The cheddar biscuits are superb and almost rivals Red Lobster’s. That reminds me(talking to self), I’m going to put together top 5 breads/biscuits list when you dine at these casual dining establishments. But back to the review, I’m cool with Ruby Tuesday’s. Would go again. The service was very good. Which probably helped this review get bumped up a star. Grade: C

As a 2012 update, this Ruby Tuesday’s continues to offer usually well-kept and clean interior, friendly staff, well-maintained salad bar and well done Ruby Tuesday’s menu items. Recently, there seems to be an increased emphasis on friendly, courteous, and prompt service. This remains a good place to go if you are in the Smyrna area and would like a quick and pleasant sit-down dining experience that’s close-by. Rarely is there a wait to sit and be served. Burgers are good, my son loves their Prime burger and some vegetarian selections are available. Not exceptional, but good.

The breakfast brunch spread on Sunday morning is alright. The Western omelet is good, but the biscuits are trying to be almost(but not quite) Red Lobster’s, and the parfait is also just okay. The breakfast potatoes that accompanied the omelet were good. Service was courteous and attentive – our party of nine was taken care of quite capably.

It all depends on what you order. Get the Triple Prime Burger. It’s made from prime beef, cooked to perfection, seasoned judiciously and tastes fantastic. I’m a low carb guy so I get it without the bun. I also recommend the steamed broccoli and green beans. I’m not a big fan of anyone’s salad bar, they all look like e-coli central to me but I know a lot of folks like them. Ruby’s has a fairly big salad bar with different leafies, pasta, eggs, croutons, and a mix of dressings. It just isn’t my thing. The service is perfect. I will admit that the prices are a bit steep but I’ve always felt that the value was good.

Food is overpriced and tasteless I suppose this is what you can expect from Ruby Tuesday! This one however is worse than any I have been to. Food came out cold… for ten dollars I got maybe 5 small chicken tenders that taste like day old Wendy’s! The girlfriend enjoyed the salad bar we would have been better off if we had both just gotten that. Our drinks were empty a majority of the meal totally unacceptable! We were never offered the free cheddar biscuits! I will never return to this location and hope it closes in the near future. At the end of the day I had an idea of what I was getting into, however I had no idea it would top the list of garbage Ruby Tuesdays!
