What a great store! I dealt with Craig and Bailey about getting couple custom frames for two pictures for Christmas presents. They gave me an estimate range for the work and made sure I had them back before Christmas-​price was right what he had estimated (really little less than what quoted-​which was great!). They were beautiful and matched up to the one I was originally wanted to match the two frames with. What exceptional customer service. I am a strong supporter for local business, especially when a local businessman recognizes the importance of serving the locals. Being a smyrna townie for more than 7 years, I am very disappointment with the customer service here. I was not happy with the frame work here and asked them to reframe it. The son of the owner was throwing F word on the phone and wasn’t happy about my request. I didn’t get my stuff framed here for free and my request was not unreasonable. I could have gone to Michael’s but I chose to give my money to the Smyrna Frame & Art Gallery because I believed in supporting local business. Smyrna Frame & Art Gallery is a total disappointment and should put more efforts on customer service. If you want to stay in business, you should make it right for your customers.

Craig framed some certificates for me. He and his son were great help picking out the frame, matte, etc. and his price was very reasonable. Very friendly family business. Craig even showed me around their shop and how they make the frames.
Just a heads up — there is a bunch of road construction in front of the entrance so it is kind of difficult to pull in right now. Also, the shop is down around in back of a chiropractor’s office.

Everyone here is super friendly!!! I came here today to get my certification framed and they helped me pick out frame and framed it up for me in like 5 mins!!! Amazing! I’m definitely going here for all my framing need. Oh and did I mention the prices are very reasonable! Great family owned place!!!

Craig «Da Man» Barfield is a master at his craft. This local family owned and operated business goes above and beyond to ensure that you get a final product that is right for you. They are courteous, patient, professional and FAST.
The quality is far better than what I have found on the internet sites… plus I get to touch, feel and actually see the product I am buying before I commit. I have found their pricing to be outstanding for the product and service that Masterpiece delivers. Their pricing is certainly comparable to the discount web sites, but you get way more for your money.
(PS — if you have a standard smaller piece in need of a frame, drop in and see what they have pre-​made for CHEAP on the wall. Great quality frames for a steal!)

This shop has the best overall selection of frames, bar none, within 25 miles. I know this because I have framed over 200 pieces and used just about every shop in town.
Service can be a little spotty as far as getting in fillets or oddities, and often he basically lets you design your own work with minimal input, but the pieces always come out with squared corners and very well done.
You will pay LESS than Michael’s by about 25% easily in most cases. Even when Michael’s offers 60% off, they mark up their frames 50% anyway, charging $ 600 for a 9×12 piece to be framed, then telling you have got a deal with cheap glass and walking out the door with a $ 287 bill.
Masterpiece discounts based on loyalty, amount of pieces and availability of materials. You can spend $ 1000 on a frame or $ 25, either way, they come out well every time.
The location of Masterpiece Gallery Framing and Art is very poor as it is located BEHIND A CHIROPRACTOR’s OFFICE. It is nearly impossible to see when traveling down Spring Road at full traffic speed.
But I assure you, you will have more than 150 – 250 frames (variations within) to choose from and be satisfied with the end result. Your picture will be encased and safe for generations to come with fine mats and various glass choices. UV glass is only a $ 10 upcharge. At Michael’s? $ 25.

I got several photos framed here recently and it was fantastic. The prices were very reasonable, especially for custom framing, much better than Michaels. I didn’t have to wait long at all and they look great. There were several nice touches, such as adjustable wire and an included hook that made it that much easier. I love how my art work looks and I got exactly what I wanted.
