I’ve been going here the past eight months. Results are normally fair but I can’t go beyond that. My last visit, six weeks ago, I had my roots done and eyebrows waxed. First time I’d had my eyebrows waxed. She missed quite a few hairs. She also missed hair around my face which was disappointing as the gray is the main thing I wanted colored. I mentioned that it hadn’t been colored but she didn’t really address my comment. Different stylist tonight, I chose a really pretty shade I was excited about. After washing my color out, my stylist mentioned that it wasn’t really going to be the color I’d selected as that may have been too shocking for me. She said the next time I came in she’d add more color. I was surprised and confused but left with wet hair and thought I’d see how it looked when it dried. The same color I’d come in with minus dark and grey roots. I’m on disability, so money is always tight. I had paid $ 74.00 for color and cut along with a $ 20 tip. Bottom line, I called her when my hair had dried and she’s going to color it again on Wednesday. Just because it’s Supercuts doesn’t mean we shouldn’t get quality work. I’m never comfortable when expressing dissatisfaction with a professional service but most of us don’t have money to throw around, right? So, make sure you’re clear about what you want and clear about what you didn’t get if that happens here. I’ll update after my next session. * I returned shortly after posting and wasn’t happy with my glowing red hair color. Under my lights at home it was Lucy Ricardo red. I went back a few days later to discuss with the manager. We looked at my hair compared to the picture my stylist had showed me initially… strawberry blonde. She said in her opinion the stylist achieved the goal. Funny thing was that under the lights in the salon, I agreed. That didn’t help me outside the salon though. When I called back to get a price on returning to my blonde status, it was going to cost more than the original appointment and I’d have to wait two weeks so it wouldn’t damage my hair. In conclusion, I feel that the staff was very considerate of my concerns and did what they could to accommodate my needs. IF you ever consider going red, please think it through carefully and do some research so you won’t run into the problem I did. It’s a pretty shocking contrast and not cheap to go back to your original color. All they can do is lowlight and add blonde highlights at that point. With a strong shampoo my red has faded quite a bit and I feel more comfortable.
