Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with the General Manager Jose. We went in to ask about boxes and dish/​china storage. Jose recommended a few things and told us that, if we got home and our things didn’t fit, we could just return what we purchased. As soon as we got home, we started packing and nothing fit. We called the number on the receipt to confirm that we could return our purchases even though we’d opened and assembled everything. The woman on the phone assured us we could, so we went right back to Jose’s shop. When we went back, Jose told us he would not accept the returns. That would have been fine, had he not been as rude and condescending as he was. He had told us just 30 minutes before that we could return things, and when we tried he spoke to us like we were children. He really missed an opportunity to build goodwill with his customers and instead ensured that we will never do business with him again, and that we will tell our friends and family to avoid his store.

Delivered my trailer three hours late and they did not charge me for an extra day. Also Purchased propane from them and they were pleasant to deal with. Suggestion — sigh up for a corporate account and save about 90 cents a pound.

Manager Jose went above and beyond after a horrible start to my latest UHaul experience at another location in Smyrna. We rented a UBox and trailer to pack it ourselves and then returned it to this location for storage and shipping to CA. Great customer service, did everything they said they would and in a timely manner. Softened the blow of a horrid experience and definitely became my UHaul location of choice in the ATL area.
