Van Adams Jewelers

I highly recommend Van Adams Jewelers as your jeweler. The customer service and quality of diamonds are simply outstanding. They made my search for a new wedding ring easy and pleasurable. My husband decided to give me a new wedding ring for our 25^th wedding anniversary this year. I searched at several other jewelers. However, I purchased from Van Adams because the sales team especially, Connie and Melita were very patient in helping me find the perfect ring. Further, Van was extremely knowledgeable in helping me find the diamond that measured up to my particular specifications. The other stores tried to sell me only diamonds in their existing inventory. However, Van Adams was willing to locate the perfect diamond. Van’s attention to detail is unsurpassed. In addition, the prices were better than all the other big chain retail jewelers. I will purchase all of my jewelry here in the future.

Don’t think I’ll ever go back to this jewelers again. Went in today probably 10 minutes before closing, I feel a bit bad because the guy that helped me was nice, we talked football because I had on my UGA shirt being game day and all. Bought a Pandora charm for my bracelet and the woman that was letting me out was INCREDIBLY rude! Bashed UGA, (that part didn’t bother me) because she was a Ga. Tech fan (I know, this sounds ridiculous right?) and made remarks about UGA grads working for Tech grads (I have Tech friends, we banter, but this woman NEVER smiled like she was kidding) said something nasty again that UGA grads being stupid (okay, getting a little close to home now) and then something about HER son (Tech grad) being a VP of a company AND THEN SLAMMED AND LOCKED THE DOOR! =:O It wasn’t necessarily what was said (though it was very unprofessional) it was her mannerisms and how she said it. I’m sure she’d had a long day, was tired and just wanted to go home, but come on! It’s not like I walked in at closing time, I didn’t I was in there 10 minutes before and left at five on the nose. I’m sure the poor salesman that I purchased from was mortified, at least he should be, at her behavior. Too many jewelers around there to mess with these people. Hoping she was not the manager but something tells me she might’ve been, that’s scary!

I have been here on a few occasions mostly for repairs and have felt their prices were fair. The staff has always been really nice and honest, and I have returned because of it.
