Kusler’s Compounding Pharmacy

Kusler’s is great. They’re great with questions, great with having things ready on time (and asking when you need something – so if you don’t need something ASAP you can tell them), great with the occasional rush order when it’s an emergency – just overall great.

This place has the most friendly pharmacist and staff. I came in about 15 minutes before they closed on Saturday with a much needed prescription for my kiddo. The pharmacist got the staff right to work on my Rx and allowed me to wait inside while they closed up the shop. And of course I shopped around while there. It took about 35 minutes total (20 min passed closing time) to fill my prescription. They ran the insurance to be sure that I didn’t pay too much and then sent me on my way. The folks at Kusler’s truly embody that small town hospitality.

I will always get my prescriptions at Kuslers’s Compounding pharmacy. The staff is always take care of you like you are part of the family.

This pharmacy has been an absolute lifesaver for me! My kitty Tiger is diabetic and hypothyroid and I should add, nearly impossible to pill. My veterinarian recommended this place and every day I thank the Lord for that! Being diabetic, the levothyroixin needs to be compounded sugar free and they were right on top of it. I have never stepped foot in the place, all our correspondence is by phone, but they have never failed to deliver Tiger’s medication asap.

I have never been treated so rude in my life as I was this afternoon at Kusler’s! I realize that today was a hardship on the employees with a big sale going on as the store is closing ~~ but when I went in at 3:30 PM the store was open. I no sooner entered and employees were all wining rudley that they wanted to go home, time to close, etc. I had several items in my hand to purchase and asked a flippy little spiked red head a question. Got a nasty look and she threw her hand in the air and said «we are closed» and walked off from me. Well, I guess you know I put all my stuff down and left with a not so kind remark to her! All the customers were complaining about the employees as we shopped… all of us walking on egg shells you might say. I understand from my friend «Annie» that the red head bitty has the wine shop in Snohomish. I am glad to know that! I would not set foot in that wine shop for anything. Roberta Cannon
I wish I could give NO stars today. Always have loved this store and I hate leaving it on a bad note. My best to the Kusler’s, they have had a very successful business.

Called Kuslers phone # Saturday and talked to a gal; SURPRISE it was Rite Aid. Then a phone automated message from Rite Aid saying welcome. WHAT? I stayed at Kuslers as a pharmacy customer despite mistakes, no price matching or limited matching (when they remembered) because I want to support small town! Janet Kusler sold out all her pharmacy customers to Rite Aid, with no warning (well I found out later a letter in the local paper? who takes the paper?) Rite Aid in turn could not get their system working to transfer prescriptions and it has a blooming nightmare. 5 days of waiting, had a medical emergency due to this — forced to go to a pharmacy out of the way and out of several meds because of all the confusion! Janet claims no other place will give customer service like Kuslers did. REALLY?!! that certainly wasn’t customer service for selling out and not letting long time customers know. RUDE! Way to go out with class! She has every right to close her shop but a little heads up or a note to say so long given when picking up scripts would of been thoughtful. She even said in article on 10/​30/​2013 she didn’t want to wait 5 more years to retire as the $ and business was good now. Glad to know we were just profit. Thanks a lot Janet. I can not thank the pharmacy staff enough for how amazing they’ve been. Due to some recent health things I’ve had a few rx’s to fill and very little patience. They were lightning fast, came and found me once it was filled and the pharmacist had a private room to discuss them with me. No embarrassing, counter front, scripted rx consults. He took time to review my questions and was very informative.
And the store to walk around? Icing on the cake. I could spend way too much time there (and money!) given the chance. I know where to go now for gifts and specialty kitchen items. I’ve left every time now with some of their chocolates. Delish!
My only disappointment is I didn’t discover this Snohomish gem years ago. Thank you, wonderful kuslers staff!

This is my «go to» shop. Seems like I can’t stay out of Kusler’s. They have a outstanding pharmacy staff and the wait is never long. Or maybe it doesn’t seem long because there is so much to look at here. Love the kitchen shop… loads of kitchenware as well as gourmet foods, books, soaps, etc. And then the home décor! The displays are always beautiful. Candles, vases, throws, lamps, clocks… just lovely. I always come here for gifts. Candy, jewelry, lotions all wrapped beautifully by the helpful salespeople. Thank you, Kuslers, you provide a great service to Snohomish.

It is truly the best pharmacy in the county. Janet Kusler is amazing and so is her kind and professional staff. Oh, and it’s a true compound pharmacy so they can handle anything your health care person deems necessary. But wait, luckily they also have the MOST FABULOUS gift and kitchen store there, too!
Confession time, honey, she lied, the pharmacy is really fast (drive up window, too) but your wife was just too busy shopping for all kinds of cool stuff and didn’t make it over to the counter to pick up the scrip for another 30 minutes. I know, I know, in Snohomish, who knew? And the free (and beautiful) gift wrapping… hurray! Love You!

No better place! You walk in and are greeted with a hello, and usually your first name! I will never go to another pharmacy. Everyone here is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They offer everything from prescriptions and over the counter medications, to cooking supplies, gifts, gourmet chocolates, games, teas, a variety of pleasing options for kids to the“more mature”. This is the only place I go for quality gifts. They even offer perceptions for pets! Once you go here, you won’t go anywhere else!

Nice old fashioned hometown pharmacy. Family owned, Janet Kussler, goes out of her way to make things right. Also some of the finest cooking aids and instruction I have ever seen.
