My review is based solely on the ice cream section. The store part was just too messy and not really anything I’m interested in so I can’t review that. We had read all the great reviews for their ice cream competitor two doors down, but went there and were totally underwhelmed. So we decided to come here as a comparison. Honestly, the ice cream is almost as good and quite a bit cheaper. And as their sign says, it’s flavors you recognize! They also have more flavors to choose from. We found the girls behind the counter to be very friendly, even though it was a few minutes after closing time when we ordered. It has the potential of being a cute little 60’s burger joint, but it was too junky to be useful for that. If they cleaned some of the junk out of the restaurant portion and made it easier to see that they actually served food(and probably increased the quality of the food, because that is suspect at this point,) they could have a good thing going there. Overall, I’d go here over their competitor next time.

Thought I would give this place another try, its been a while and they have a lot to look at. Well… I stepped on a nail coming out of the floor. Thank jesus it didnt go all the way though the sole. That was annoying and scary but i kept going with caution. I overheard the owner sitting in a booth on the other end of a little wall thing talking about how anyone who goes to church is a blind bigoted shit and so on. Oh that’s nice… so we decided to leave. We will take our bigot wallets elsewhere.

Horrible service by the owner. I simply asked a question and then was treated very rudely. Additionally I later found out what he was trying to sell me as an antique item was actually something that is still being made but to look vintage. I felt this was very misleading.

Once I read the employee review, I had to change my attitude, because I knew there was a reason why I felt like the prices of the items in this store were overpriced. While nobody forced me to buy my Las Vegas Illuminated clock, I did think the $ 50 was a bit much, and the White Castle metal plate sign for $ 25 would be something I would expect to find at Value village for $ 3. I won’t be going back, although they have a very large selection of nostalgia and knick knacks, most of the stuff can be bought online for much less including shipping. I think Pegasus overcharges so much on their stuff to unsuspecting tourists. Well, I suppose its not illegal, but it does mean I do know better now.

Pegasus is a «vintage» store mixed with an ice cream bar. The store is interesting, with lots of nostalgic stuff. I went here last year and enjoyed looking at the large amount of TV Guides they had, as well as other things. Went here yesterday and the TV Guide collection has shrinked, but there are hundreds of Life and Sat. Evening Post magazines here as well. There’s also a lot of weird items and vintage children’s stuff, like Happy Meal toys, etc. Like this store!

Pegasus used to be an old theater, there is alot of local history that you can ask the owners about. They have a snack bar with ice cream and goodies. Most of their antiques are music related from the 1950’s. I like looking at the creepy furniture on the top floor. There is a good selection of fun buttons and other things towards the front of the store that are not necessarily antiques. For whatever reason they are CLOSED on Mondays.
